"We use Rio Perdido as a home base for skiing Monarch (25 minute drive) and soaking in any of the magnificent hot springs just a short drive away. Downtown Salida and its excellent restaurants, shops and galleries is just a short walk away from this cozy two-bedroom home. In the summer, nothing beats enjoying your favorite beverage on the deck overlooking the Arkansas River. It's a comfortable home away from home in one of my favorite Colorado towns."

"The property was an excellent choice for a gathering of our children and grandchildren. The home was comfortable and spacious--appreciated all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The spacious kitchen made it easy to plan family meals (along with the grill, etc.) The proximity to the interstate, shopping center, and many area tourists spots make it an ideal location. We found the home clean and well supplied. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood. The view from the deck was fantastic."

"This was our first visit to this cabin but will NOT be our last! My family had an absolutely wonderful time! I must say we were all delighted with the cabin, the pictures simply do not do it justice. The cabin's location is outstanding and the property is very private and beautiful. Unfortunately, we got 8-10inches of snow during our stay so we were not able to really venture out and explore like we wanted. However, there was plenty to do at the cabin with satellite TV and board games galore! We very much enjoyed the hot tub during the snow storm! The view from the deck/hot tub couldn't be beat! We also enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels from the livingroom! The Irish Pub in Divide has great food and wonderful pizza. The cabin is close to Manitou Springs which is a really neat little town!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip! We will be back :)"

"First things first...this cabin is amazing. Being a frequent vrbo renter I can tell you this surpassed ALL expectations. Look no further, you wont find a nicer more equipped cabin, in the most beautiful part of Colorado.
This cabin is large enough to bring several families. We only had 4 people so it was definately roomy and then some. It is spotless. Surrounded by pines and peaceful solitude, mountain views and mountain air.
The Pine View cabin is centrally located to many amenities. This was our kids first time so we wanted to do several different things:
Downtown Leadville is very quaint and eclectic. It is a true mining town. People are very nice.
Turquoise Lake, oh my gosh!! Its a mile away and pure heaven. My son and husband fished it and caught rainbows and lake trout!! Its just breathtaking.
Rafting-we used American Adventures expeditions in Buena Vista it is only 40 min.. Easy drive.
ATVing-we used Nova guides in Leadville at Camp Hale. Its 15 min.
Independance pass is a must. The turnoff for this is 20 min.
Shopping Breck or Silverthorne which we split into the first and last days of our week is about 40 min.
So as you can see in all diff directions you can go to explore, Leadville is central to alot of things...yet the cabin is located in peace and quiet and so private!!!!
Lastly, the owner Charley is just the best to deal with. He is like an old friend!! The property manager lives in Leadville and is just a phone call away. She is amazing and very very sweet!! I can not say enough about Pine View cabin, we will miss it and will be back..!!"
