"My family spent 5 nights in this cottage in Leadville and we had the best vacation - ever. The cottage is clean and roomy enough for 6 of us to be very comfortable. The kitchen was great, we had several family meals together. The laundry was great, we were able to minimize the clothing we needed to pack. The bathroom, shower - all good. Grill on the back patio - - how can you go wrong? We used the Mineral Belt Trail (2 blocks from the cottage) many times, walked downtown for a few meals and general sightseeing. We launched our other adventures from this very convenient location as well; Turquoise Lake is 6 miles down the road, Mt. Elbert trailhead is 10 miles down the road, BV and whitewater rafting was 30 miles down the road. The neighbors were friendly, the view of the continental divide is fabulous, you can see the two highest peaks in the state from the back patio - - I could go on. Leadville gives off a cool vibe that I found attractive - - it has all the views and activities that a Vail and Aspen would have without the pretension. I saw a bumper sticker that said it all: "Leadville - We're Here Because We're Not All There." If you've got Wall Street money and want to stay at the InterContinental, that is awesome, do that. If you're a regular guy like me who adheres to the "....do as the Romans do..." mantra, rent this house."

"This place is great! There is a ton of space, the kids room was perfect and the two giant bath tubs gave us all a chance to relax after a long day of playing at the sand dunes. The outdoor space is also amazing and the creek flowing through the property was like the cherry on top. I would highly reccomend this place and will be staying there again."

"Not only is this unit in the amazing little town of Green Mountain Falls which is so scenic, it has the Mucky Duck restaurant which has the best food I have had in a couple of years! This is ideally located between Manitou Springs and
Woodland Park as well as close to Colorado Springs old town. So much to see and do. This unit was the most beautiful, quaint, well decorated and completely stocked place we have ever stayed. The unit was warm and inviting and relaxing. Everything you could need was there and available. While we didn't get to use the hot tub it was actually a plus for our choosing this home (as well as the enclosed backyard for our two small dogs which even had their own cupboard of supplies available). Our son and family live in Woodland Park and we will always choose this place to stay for as long as we are able to visit."

"We absolutely loved the loft! Beautifully located, very comfortable, and entertaining for children of all ages! Don was super easy to work with and deposit was refunded immediately. We had a family gathering of 8, with ages ranging from 4 to 54 and a wonderful time was had by all . Highly recommended."
