"House, facilities were everything as described......and much better. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the house has plenty of Windows for a continuous view. Everything worked well and we were extremely satisfied. We had a family vacation (10 people at times)'and the home accommodated our group fine. We also elk hunted for late season elk (cow) and saw plenty of sign but we're unable to score. Some of our party skied at Monarch during the stay. Must have 4x4 for roadway in during extreme conditions."

"This cabin had everything we needed starting with basic amenities to comfort and space. It was a good sized cabin to fit us all comfortably. Very very clean!! Perfect location, almost hidden in the trees. Our kids had lots of area to explore and play. The back patio was very large and beautiful! We will definitely be back!"

"My husband and I stayed in this lovely cabin for several days as part of our annual Colorado vacation. The cabin was perfect and fully met all of our expectations. It is located in a gated community as stated, and it was everything we were looking for. If you don't mind driving several miles back dirt roads (which are well-maintained), and if you want to see a lot of wildlife, then this is the cabin for you! We bought supplies at a grocery store in Pueblo and made most of our meals in the cabin.
While there, we enjoyed a drive along the Highway of Legends, CO Highway 12, from La Veta to Trinidad which was absolutely beautiful, especially in September! We also took another day to drive to Antonito and catch a ride on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. We actually made our reservations beforehand and decided to ride their bus from Antonito to Chama, NM, and then ride the train back to Antonito. We highly recommend this train ride... it was amazing and spectacular!
This is a great getaway place for those seeking privacy, seclusion and beauty! There are enough nearby interesting places to check out if you want, but it is also a great place to just sit back, kick your feet up and relax!"

"This is a wonderful home which is most accurately described as remote. It is a comfortable home that is charming and well appointed. I would recommend this home for people wanting to be in a natural mountain setting. It is remote, so don't stay here if you're looking for places to shop and dine out. Don't arrive in a Corvette as there is a long gravel road to travel from the park gate to the home. It's perfect if you want to hike and just relax in the deep mountains. The owner stays in an apartment in the basement and leaves you alone unless you invite her in, which I would suggest, as she's fun and interesting. Great place for families. I would recommend this to family and friends. We'll definitely stay here again."
