"Out of six home rentals in down town Crested Butte the Red Poppy was the best we have ever had. We love being right in the middle of town everyone, can just go and do their thing. We love to watch baseball, hop on the bus, ride our bikes, hike, shop right from the house w/o having to drive anywhere. The home is fit perfectly for a family of four plus a few friends. I love the high end touches: steam shower, large bath tub, Wolf stove etc. Thank You so much for the great service we have received at Alpine Getaways in Crested Butte."

"We stayed in Crested Butte in the summertime, though this condo is within walking distance of the nearest chair lift for the ski resort. There are expansive views of Crested Butte and surrounding landscape from the deck and living room. This is an end unit with windows on two sides. There is plenty of space for four occupants with a good sized kitchen and living room. The condo is in very good condition and appears to be well maintained. It was quiet at night. Sleeping arrangements were one room with queen bed and one room with two twins. The only two negatives are that the two twin beds have spring mattresses that would not be comfortable for someone who likes a firm mattress and there are units below and in front with chimneys that vent pretty close to the deck for this unit if the wind is blowing the wrong way. Though, I'd stay here again."

"We rented Winslow in the Shire for an art workshop. This spacious rental gave each artist their personal space while the common areas were excellent for a group this size. The well equipped kitchen was a great area for preparing breakfast and lunch. Several dining areas made plenty of room for our dinners of 30 + people.
The outdoor deck witht the gorgeous views of the mountains added even more areas for dining.
The entire week was a huge success and the artists were so glad we found Winslow in the Shire.
A special thanks to the owners for accommodating our needs.
