"Overall we had a great stay for our first time in Durango and the owner was very attentive.
Pros: The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfy and we always had hot water for showers. Looks exactly as pictured and it's a close walk to the slopes.
Cons: The building does not have an elevator. The room is located just off the stairwell, so we could hear everyone going up and down, BUT we were so tired from skiing all day that it didn't really wake us. The small sofa beds were uncomfortable for our 12yr old son. Would not recommend them for an adult."

"This was the perfect spot for our family to explore Telluride. You can't find a better location for anywhere close to the price. It gives you the ideal combination - a quiet place to sleep with views of multiple mountain ranges through the aspens and proximity to all that Telluride offers without being jammed in a dated home in the town or surrounded by people in the Mountain Village. You're only 100 yards away from the Village, but the tranquility of the unit makes you feel much further removed. The gondola to the town and mountain top is only about 200 yards away so everything is right there for you.
We were able to hike all the hikes we wanted without getting in our car. The grocery/liquor store was a quick walk or gondola and all Telluride's charm & restaurants were an easy gondola ride (the kids loved the gondola).
The unit breaks up perfectfully for families, too. You can nap kids on different schedules and have quiet while also having plenty of space to enjoy time with friends and other adults. The layout is wonderful, comfortable and clean and the amenities were all top notch. The owner was very responsive as well.
We'd highly recommend and look forward to returning."

"Several factors go into a desirable place to stay - the decor, the amenities and location. This place excels on all three plus the benefit of a beautifully landscaped two and a half wide lot with banzai & water gardens, heavily flowered grounds with grassy area for kids and pets. The cozy interior is eclectically decorated with warm colors, rich woods original photography of the area and stone tile in the kitchen. As a cabin owner myself further up the valley for fifty years, I can appreciate the nuances and attention to detail the owners have put into this place and can recommend whole heartedly. The owner even helped me do a load of laundry late one night. The small refrigerator does not have its own ice tray but one is more than welcome to use their refrigerator downstairs. And, of course, play ball with their friendly dog, Kernel, if you have failed to bring your own - dog that is."
