  • Great value ski in ski out at Crested Butte

"This was our annual groups first trip to Crested Butte and we wanted to do it right and this condo fit perfectly in our plans and our needs. The owner also was very responsive and kind and I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants a great experience at Crested for a great price on the hill. We had no problems with this booking from start to finish and are very glad we made this choice! Book with confidence. There is a private shuttle but we did not need it this stay since we could just walk down a short road and ski to the lift and then down to the base for whatever we wanted. You do not need a ticket on the first lift to get to the base either so can ski out, take lift, ski to base and get ticket for how many days you need and you are set."

  • Beautiful home close to town

"This place was absolutely fantastic! Spacious, well-appointed, short 7 minute walk to town in a quiet setting. Beautiful views of the mountains in every direction, and a great balcony for morning breakfast. Exactly as advertised. Would stay again in a heartbeat."

  • Spectacular Mountain Views in Spacious Home

"We visited in October with another couple. Our kids attend Western State so they joined us for the weekend. The layout was perfect for our group. Each bedroom has its own private bath and there is another family room with flat screen on the lower level so everyone has space. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of top of the line cookware, utensils, glasses, plates, etc. Beds were very comfy too. We really loved the wonderful views in every direction. We spent a lot of time on the decks. The free range cattle visited on a few evenings! The hot tub is also a nice addition, especially after a day of horseback riding, hiking or biking. (I'm sure it's also great after a day on the slopes, but we were there in the fall with temps in the upper 60's!) The home was very clean and everything was in working order. We did visit some of Crested Butte's restaurants and would recommend Maxwells, McGills and Last Steep. We also recommend Fantasy Ranch for horseback riding adventures. I would not hesitate in recommending this cool mountain home to a friend!"

  • Incredible Stay of a Lifetime

"I'm actually a bit embarrassed I've waited this long to write my review but I simply got busy. My family was presented with a rare and wonderful opportunity this past summer when my wife earned a paid four week sabbatical from her job enabling us to spend four consecutive weeks at this wonderful home. I work remotely but phone and computer so I was able to work about half the trip and take vacation days for the rest. This home and location are just incredible! The pictures just do not capture the views. We must have take 100 photos of the sunset over Mt. Whetstone. The great room has floor to ceiling windows and on the backside you feel like your just part of an aspen grove. On the front side is Mt. Whetstone which can be viewed from the deck off the great room floor or from the other deck off the first floor where the hot tub is. I could go on and on about how great CB is, all the hiking, the fishing, mountain biking, ziplines, etc... but the reality is we spent much of our time just sitting out on the deck looking at the mountain with a glass of wine in hand! Of course, being there for a month we did all the other things too. The drive way is steep but my wife's sedan made it without issue. Every day I would walk down the driveway to the "street" (more of a gravel road) and walk all the way down to the end of the road and turn around. The views once you get down to the end of the drive look back into CB and all the mountains surrounding it. My dog and I did this walk at least once a day. Round trip was about 45 minutes and it was phenomenal. There are only two more houses past this house and both were unoccupied for most of our stay. Mornings in August were cool and crisp and I typically had to wear a fleece in the morning. The beds were comfortable. The caretaker (Bill) was a great guy too. We had a few small appliance problems that were addressed quickly and easily. When we got back to the heat of Texas I was in a funk for about 2 weeks. Our month went by so fast. I cannot recommend this home highly enough. I wish we could go back for ski season. It would be about a 20 minute drive to the ski slopes, FYI. We have stayed in about a dozen VRBO properties now including some very nice homes in other beautiful locations. This house ranks at the very top now for total experience."
