"This is a great little cabin. It's in a perfect location if you are looking for a place close to all the shops and restaurants in Crested Butte. We walked 2 blocks to Secret Stash (pizza), 2 blocks to Third Bowl (ice cream), 3 or so block to Camp 4 Coffee, and 2 blocks to Big Al's Bike rental.
We rode bikes to Peanut Lake and along the Lower Loop trail and all through town.
My kids loved staying in the upstairs bedrooms. A word of caution - as stated, the stairs are teensy tiny! Not a problem for little feet, but might be difficult for anyone with a bigger frame. My kids loved having the space to themselves. It got a little warm upstairs, but we opened the windows and the kids enjoyed listening to the music coming from the bars and restaurants in town - not to mention the wonderful mountain air. No bathtub - just in case you have small children that aren't old enough to take a shower.
The rental process was very professional and the owners were very prompt in answering questions, etc. We would definitely rent from them again.
Crested Butte is a magical place!"

"I spent a charming extended weekend staying at Maroon Dairy in the middle of March. I can honestly say Maroon Dairy has been by far one of the best places I have ever stayed on ski country. It is super close to the free shuttle to the mountain, so we were able to avoid the hassle of paying for parking and the kids could easily take the bus home if they tired before the Mrs. and I did (Which happened on multiple occasions... Thanks Cross Fit!). Since Crested Butte's historic downtown is less than two blocks away we were able to walk to dinner every night, and the bars for out parents night out! Our favorite feature about the house itself was how the dining table, living room and kitchen were all open making it super easy for everyone to hangout as we baked aprés-ski cookies and nachos. Overall a fantastic time!"

"Lovely home with views of the mountains off the 2nd level balcony; quiet hours every nighttime and seriously comfortable beds! A short walk into town, convenient and easy yet if returning at night bring a flashlight because the street lights do not extend throughout the neighborhood. We were in town for a wedding; the rehearsal dinner @ a park pavilion just at the end of this street, the ceremony @ the Mt Crested Butte Wedding Garden, just 5-6 miles up the hill, then a reception in CB @ a restaurant near the other end of Elk St. Walking back the 7 blocks in the middle of the night even with other pubs still open was calm and relaxing. This location is near Tony's Trail which leads to the Upper Loop, great for walking or running, as well as a paved trail toward Mt CB: good for strollers, walkers, and dogs who play in the stream the pathway passes over. Internally, this home offers everything needed for your stay: linens, paper goods, kitchen appliances and comfort! Rent here; you will be pleased."

Terrific location, kid-friendly, pictures don't do it justice
"With two youngsters under 3, this was the perfect location with the house nicely situated between two of Crested Butte's fantastic parks. With a short walk to town, a short distance to trailheads, ample space to leave the car parked and an unobstructed view of Mt. Crested Butte, this was the ideal spot to spend the Independence Day holiday and also take in fireworks. We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard and grilling each evening. If you're looking to cook gourmet meals each evening, the kitchen will leave you desiring a bit more. Certainly not a personal knock on the property as it had everything to fit our needs for a casual holiday. The master bath appears to have been recently updated and was a pleasant surprise. The property is much more spacious and inviting than the pictures would lead you to believe. As regulars to CB each July, we'll definitely look to rent this property again. Also, as an added bonus, the property manager was very prompt and friendly!"
