Spring Break with two families
"We were, generally, very very happy with our stay at this condo. We had two families totaling 4 adults and 5 children ages 7, 10, 10, 11 and 12 and the place was plenty big to accomodate all of us comfortably. We ate all our breakfasts in and two dinners in (cooking for all 9 of us) and two out "on the town" between our days of skiing. All in all we had a great trip and the condo was a great location - walkable to the base but we often caught the easily catchable free shuttle.
If I had one "gripe" (and its relatively small) is that there weren't really any dressers/closets to unpack clothes into (most of the closets were locked) so we all had to live out of our bags; I'm one of those that likes to unpack for what was a 4-nite trip. Again, not a huge deal, but something we weren't prepared for.
We'll be back to ski CB and I'm sure that we'll look for this property first when we come again! Thank you!"

"My wife and I visited town on a book tour and were put up here for two nights. Since we rent our own home on VRBO when we're away, we have some opinions about what makes a great rental.
After staying here, we may be stealing some ideas.
The location is great, on the edge of the old town, within easy walking distance of the main commercial street and close to the trailhead that leads to biking and running trails. If you're into exploring town and getting a feel for the funky community, this is the best possible location.
The house has been newly renovated (we were told we'd taken the first shower in the expansive new master bathroom shower). The layout has flipped the space so the upstairs is a great room and well-equipped kitchen with a loft above. We found everything we could want in the kitchen, including a fully stocked spice cabinet. The great room is furnished in comfortable cowboy style, and there's plenty of room for multiple activities in the space.
Downstairs, there's a feeling of privacy for all three bedrooms, plus, there's a small tv/reading room at the end of the hall, which can help segment larger groups.
The furnishing and decor has character but doesn't feel worn. Linens and mattresses first rate. Wifi worked flawlessly.
Two clunker loaner bikes were available for running errands in this very bike- and walker-friendly town, so a car is not necessary.
It's too big a place for just two people who might want a romantic getaway, but we didn't feel dwarfed.

"We had an amazing time at your condo! Your condo is PERFECT for our party of 6. The place was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. The master bedroom was beautiful and I really enjoyed the Jacuzzi bath tub (especially right after a long ski day). The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the outdoor hot tub!! We were there to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and it was a memory to remember. The West Wall lift was located steps away from the condo. It was a real treat to walk to the slope!! Ski storage on the 1st floor is real nice. No need to carry ski/boots to the top floor. The only problem was that our children love your place so much that they did not want to leave! We will be back next year!!!"

"Crested Butte is a great town. Staying downtown, close to all of the restaurants and stores is a real treat. We have stayed in Mt. Crested Butte, but staying downtown is the way to go and the License Plate House is the perfect place to stay. If you love coffee, roll out of bed and stumble next door to Camp 4 Coffee, the best coffee in Colorado. Love ice cream? Stroll across the street to Third Bowl for great ice cream. The house itself is efficient, comfortable and cozy."
