Fun old home with excellent location
"Rickety and old but right in downtown! So affordable for 3 families to share. The house was stocked with everything we needed. David, the owner was so responsive to all my emails."

"Our group (2 families, 8 persons) has rented this house two years in a row now to ski at Crested Butte over the New Year's holiday. It is truly a PERFECT mountain getaway home. The kids (and the adults) have a great time with the pool/ping pong tables and the hot tub; the bedrooms are comfy & cozy; and the living areas are spacious and very homey. The kitchen is VERY nice and quite modern - perfect for our group of eight to prepare meals, eat, and fellowship together. Overall, I cannot think of a single negative about this house: it's very close to Crested Butte, it's views are AMAZING, and it is meticulously maintained. Best Deal in the Crested Butte area!"

"Crested Butte is a great town. Staying downtown, close to all of the restaurants and stores is a real treat. We have stayed in Mt. Crested Butte, but staying downtown is the way to go and the License Plate House is the perfect place to stay. If you love coffee, roll out of bed and stumble next door to Camp 4 Coffee, the best coffee in Colorado. Love ice cream? Stroll across the street to Third Bowl for great ice cream. The house itself is efficient, comfortable and cozy."

"We had a long Spring break weekend in the condo and being right next to the lifts was such a bonus to maximize time on the slopes. The property had everything we needed and was convenient to the town shuttle so we didn't even have to take our car out once we arrived. Our interaction with the condo owner was very professional and he was helpful and informative. Just 2 negatives to pass along: 1) there is no walkway from the parking lot around to the slope side where you enter the condo so we had to carry our luggage across snow/ice and 2) the downside of being right next to the lifts was hearing the grooming machines each morning beginning at 2:30 am, making for not such a great night's sleep. Next time I'll bring earplugs because we would definitely stay here again."
