  • Repeat customers=super happy family

"This home was perfect for my family: two sons (ages 4 and 2), husband and myself. It's located around the corner from the Skate Park/nordic center, where we spent lots of time with the kids biking. The spacious dining area has tons of natural light, the yard is enormous, and we love the covered storage area and bike rack for bikes. Both my husband and I are avid mountain bikers; there's plenty of trails from home, and, for the parent who stays home with the kids, plenty of things to do. You're blocks from Elk Avenue, easy walking trails, and the free shuttle up to the resort. I love that this home is spacious without feeling huge and that it's super comfortable, clean, and overall just very nice. We will definitely be back."

  • Great location

"Our family has stayed at this house several times over the last few years. Perfect location (1/2 block) on Elk Ave. Walk across the street and you are at the bus stop for the free shuttle to the slopes. Beautifully decorated and everything is always perfect. Perfect place for a family of four. Highly recommended!"

  • Fantastic value and perfect for our needs.

"We had one adult and 2 teenagers at the beginning of our stay and 2 couples at the end, and the bedrooms and bathrooms worked out perfectly for our changing occupancy. The condo is cozy and comfortable, and the view of the ski hill is amazing. The owners were very flexible and answered emails quickly. We were able to add days onto the beginning of our stay. Then our ski race plans changed at the last minute, and Pat was gracious in letting us add an extra night, so our boys could rest. The location is less than 10 minutes walk to the lifts or just a couple of minutes via free shuttle (stops just out the front door) to the resort. The town shuttle from the resort is also free and convenient, so you can get to all the town restaurants and the grocery store without a car. Thanks again for everything. We look forward to visiting again."

  • First Class but not at all fussy

"My wife and I visited town on a book tour and were put up here for two nights. Since we rent our own home on VRBO when we're away, we have some opinions about what makes a great rental. After staying here, we may be stealing some ideas. The location is great, on the edge of the old town, within easy walking distance of the main commercial street and close to the trailhead that leads to biking and running trails. If you're into exploring town and getting a feel for the funky community, this is the best possible location. The house has been newly renovated (we were told we'd taken the first shower in the expansive new master bathroom shower). The layout has flipped the space so the upstairs is a great room and well-equipped kitchen with a loft above. We found everything we could want in the kitchen, including a fully stocked spice cabinet. The great room is furnished in comfortable cowboy style, and there's plenty of room for multiple activities in the space. Downstairs, there's a feeling of privacy for all three bedrooms, plus, there's a small tv/reading room at the end of the hall, which can help segment larger groups. The furnishing and decor has character but doesn't feel worn. Linens and mattresses first rate. Wifi worked flawlessly. Two clunker loaner bikes were available for running errands in this very bike- and walker-friendly town, so a car is not necessary. It's too big a place for just two people who might want a romantic getaway, but we didn't feel dwarfed. Highly recommended."
