Excellent choice for long term Winter Vacation!
"Chateau Condos are very close to the base area and buses run every 15 minutes early morning until late at night. All transportation is free and very convenient. This unit is very large and storing all our gear for skiing was more than adequate. The kitchen was well equipped with many thoughtful gadgets to make our meal preps easy.... Just like home.
Very friendly maintenance man, Danny, always available to help out and answer any questions concerning the properties. Hot tub and Pool well maintained and one of only a few available @ CB. Owners Luz and Anthony were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our needs. Hope to return for more skiing @ CB!"

"For the 2nd year in a row we rented this unit for a guys ski weekend. The place is always immaculate and the prop. mgr Paige is always super helpful with any questions. The beds are super comfy, which helps after skiing the Headwall and North Face all day. The view from the unit is great. There's always firewood stocked and ready for us. It's a short walk across the bridge to the Silver Queen lift which is a great bonus. It's also steps away from the town shuttle. The complex is built on a hill, so get comfortable with climbing up and down stairs. This isn't the place for you if you need accessibility options. The upstairs bedroom works for grown men, but if you're 6'+ you'll be more comfortable in the lower bedrooms. DON'T FORGET TO PUT YOUR PARKING PERMIT ON YOUR CAR!! We got booted, because it wasn't easily visible (I have no rear-view mirror and the pass had gotten covered by junk on the dash)...the boot-dude let us off, but that would have a serious negative if we'd had to pay $200. We love it here and will be back next year again. P.S. The HOA at Snowcrest should get the hot-tub jet function working...2 years in a row it has been broken."

"This was a great condo. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The decor was great and made you feel very comfortable. It had a lot of room and could easliy accomodate 4 people. The front desk staff always answered our questions and even had an HDMI cable that we could borrow. The location was very close to the lifts (about 3 blocks) and it was very quiet. The mountain was great and had a lot of friendly staff. The terrain was challenging enough for all skiers. The bus stop was right outside the back door and it was very easy to use and came to all of the stops every 15 minutes. Downtown Crested Butte was such a charming town and all of the historic buildings (over 100 years old) are a must see. The grocery store in town had everything that was needed. The restaurants in town were wonderful. I would stop by the rum distillery if in town too. Very friendly people and very interesting drinks. The 2 downsides to the lodge was that you need to pay $20 to park per day and there is not another place to park that is close. The other downside is that it is not a true ski in/ski out. The lifts are very close (about 3 blocks right out the back door) but you can not put your skis right on and ski out or keep your skis on and ski in. Eventhough I did see 2 downsides, I would still highly recommend this condo and stay here again!"

"We stayed at this condo for a weekend get away sans kiddos. It was great for my husband and I. Condo wasn't too fancy but worked out just perfect for us. Nicely decorated and had the stuff we needed. The location was just what we were looking for. We walked to Djangos for dinner one night (a must) and biked into town another evening (great places to eat in town are Bonez - awesome happy hour and Secret Stash Pizza). We were able to prepare breakfast and pack lunches which was very helpful. Our goal was to hike and we got plenty of great hiking in during out stay. I would definitely recommend this place for 2 people. Might be a bit tight if there are more."
