  • Cozy Mountain Adventure

"We had a great time at this rustic cabin. We had never been to Vallecito before, but it is a gorgeous place to snowshoe, cross-country ski, snowmobile or just hang out in the cabin. The owner was very hospitable, and the cabin was comfortable. We loved sitting by the fire to warm up and enjoyed the charming view of the mountainside."

  • Excellent Winter New Year Getaway!!

"Beautiful home with breathtaking views!! I must say the pictures shown do give an idea of how beautiful this home is but in reality the home is much much more!! It's so spacious and comfortable!! We had four families (8 adults, 6 kids) altogether stay in this beautiful home and there was so much wiggle room. The kids had a great time, as well as the adults, we didn't want to leave. We visited the beautiful town of Telluride and soaked in the hot springs pool in Ouray, not to mention, we met some wonderful friendly locals in Ridgway!! The homeowners were wonderful to work with and responded quickly to any questions I had! I Highly recommend this beautiful home for your next family winter getaway!"

  • Best winter stay imaginable.

"We love Phil's cabin. This was our fourth visit. Each time we pretty much do the same thing; yet each visit just gets better and better. We ski, get tired and come in and read books and eat. The cabin is pleasant and cozy on a winter's day. We love being able to ski the groomed trails morning, day and night. Even when it was quite cold, as the first days of this most recent stay were, we rested easy, knowing that we could warm up inside in front of the fire. Also, hungry from the skiing we would get back and bake cookies. Or, first thing in the morning, pack everything in the slow cooker and have stew and soups waiting for us when we got back from time outdoors. The cabin is peaceful and quiet, out in the middle of nowhere; yet, we also appreciate having the internet available. We also make use of the TV and peruse many of the interesting books in the cabin. My wife and I have agreed that we must experience the cabin come summer."

  • Winter Wonder-land

"We stayed at the cabin during the Christmas weekend and were entirely pleased! It had snowed over 12 inches the past week contributing to the cabin experience. The cabin is roomy, but very cozy with a wood-burning stove for those cold winter mornings. It is tastefully decorated with a woodsy-outdoor theme and knotty pine ceilings. We thought it was a good value for the money and one of the nicest cabins allowing for pets. I am sure our children had some memories to last a lifetime. Can't wait to return!"
