"Spent a wonderful week in beautiful Durango! The weather was incredible! This home was perfect for us. It has everything we needed. Beautiful views all around. We hope to stay here again soon. Very clean and comfortable. We were a group of 5 adults. We did a lot of sight seeing and this was a great location for us!"

"I'm always a little skeptical when renting a vacation home. Sometimes it does not live up to the description or the photos. This home was the exception. The photos did not do it justice. It was large and bright with lots of windows. The master bedroom was large and had a fireplace in the corner. The master bathroom was awesome. There was a jetted tub, steam shower with multiple spray heads, separate toilet room and double vanity with lots of storage. The kitchen was a cooks dream. The laundry room was spacious and came equipped with everything needed. This home was furnished with everything needed for a great trip away from home. Our small dog was right at home but no fence so we had to walk her. There was sidewalks close by but no street lights at night. We recommend this home to anyone."

Nicely furnished and decorated, Kitchen is well stocked
"We stayed for 6 nights while attending a wedding in Durango. The home is in a great location and has been nicely decorated and has an incredibly well stocked kitchen. While it is advertised for 10, the sofa bed is uncomfortable and not a good place to sleep, one person was able to sleep on the sofa but not the bed. We agreed with several other prior reviews. The vertical blinds in the first floor bedroom were still broken and had not been repaired. They should be replaced and removed and or they should have a curtain installed instead to ensure privacy. Also, there were not sufficient towels for everyone. At a minimum there should be a bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth for each person. Additionally, there were only 4 bars of the smallest bath soaps for the entire house for 6 nights, and only one roll of paper towels. At the rates they are charging they can afford to provide adequate towels, soaps, and paper towels. The home information sheets states that you can purchase your own supplies at the store. Other than these issues, the home was decorated very nicely with a Southwest influence, and it was in a great location. We consider these issues the responsibility of the management company (not the owners) and would want them to be informed of these problems. We also noted a broken window in the living room which the management company was notified of, but it was also never repaired."

"If you are looking for a rustic cabin with lots of charm that can accommodate a large group or family, this is the place! It's tucked perfectly on a hillside behind the owners main home. We were greeted by the owners with a carton of fresh eggs from their hens. The cupboards were more than adequately stocked with all the nessasary equipment to cook every meal, even spices. The showers were hot and the water pressure was amazing. All beds were comfortable and clean and there was plenty of room for all 9 of us. There is a washer and dryer on both floors of the cabin so you can pack a light bag. We had a few visits from the owners very well behaved black lab, if dogs aren't for you there is a gate you could close..we welcomed the pooch. The hot tub was clean and hot. It was a real treat to soak in the evening and watch some of the wildlife come and sip from the little creek that runs right by the cabin. We also had a great time on a two hour rafting trip led by Scott the owner. We had door to door service, way better than any of the large outfitters. We had 3 children 9-11 on the raft and under the advisement of Scott they got off for a section of the river that was a little bit rough. Katie, his sweet wife was there to meet us and she walked the children down the trail and kept a close eye on them as we forged the water. The kids got back on and we finished the rest of the trip. The cabin is just far enough out of town but it's not too secluded. The hot springs are just a skip down the road. A grocery store is also pretty close. I would most definitely recommend this great cabin. We look forward to returning!"
