"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2 couples stayed at this home and we loved it. Spend time in a lot of vacation rental homes, but I must say this home was so thoroughly equiped, I was amazed. Felt just like home, but in a beautiful private mountain setting. It adjoins a National Forest and is on a quiet road. Hot tub at night under the stars was amazing. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!!"Guest: Tom B. "This property was on the corner of the building and had a fantastic view of the northern and eastern mountain ranges. The deck was extremely large with many chairs and we used the gas grill for many of our meals. The upstairs kitchen, living room and dinning room were very spacious and comfortable. We walked to the village many times and rode the chair lifts. We had a large group and with four bedrooms it was perfect. We would definitely come back!"Guest: Durnago Kid Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 1, 2014View listing
"My wife and I spent ten days in this condominium. The condo is well-equipped, comfortable, and very nicely furnished and decorated. The property owner and manager communicated well with us ahead of time to make sure every detail was taken care of. My only caution is that this location is at 8776 feet elevation, and for those from lower elevations, it takes several takes to acclimate. We made lots of side trips into Durango and nearby locations at lower elevations just so we could breathe. But the surroundings are beautiful, we enjoyed using the kitchen to cook for ourselves, and spent a very pleasant 10 days with this condo as our base."Guest: Mike Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 13, 2014View listing
"The area is beautiful and it amazed us how much there was to do in the summer! The best thing about this condo was the space! Six kids and teens were playing upstairs and we were still able to have an adult conversation in the living room (and hear each other.) Having the master bedroom downstairs and away from the other bedrooms was another plus for privacy and allowed us to enjoy a sense of calm even though the condo was filled with our energetic family. Having the indoor pool on the grounds was another plus because it was a short walk and an easy diversion when desired. The condo was well equipped, large, had all the amenities we needed but was not at all cluttered. James Ranch (toward) Durango was our favorite place (outdoor farm to table type/fun for kids and great, simple food) for lunch, especially after our morning hikes. Our favorite family hike was to Spud lake and we also enjoyed having a picnic at Engineer Meadows. This is most likely a great place for skiers, but we love the summer in this area."Guest: Bill, Julie and family Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 20, 2014View listing
