"First off and most importantly: This is a great condo in a great location with some very good amenities. I recommend staying here either with a large family or a couple of families. The master bedroom and second bedroom in the main unit are good and can sleep 5 comfortably. The attached studio can sleep more although the beds aren't quite as comfortable there. The property just needs a little bit of maintenance - cabinets that won't stay shut, a grill that didn't work, etc. Overall it's very good, minus one star for the list of little things that need to be fixed."

"We loved our stay at this condo. It was everything advertised and more. The building was just a few steps from the ski lift. We took a ride up the lift and rode the alpine slide down the mountain. The Condo was lovely. The king master suite was very comfortable with a big private bath with a walk in shower. There was a very nice queen bedroom and then a third bedroom with bunk beds. The condo had all the extras. Fully stocked kitchen (even though I don't cook on vacation.) The elevator was right around the corner from our room and on the second floor we had a private covered parking spot which was so convenient. We enjoyed the hot tub which overlooked the village. We were able to walk just a few feet to Purgy's restaurant, which had great bison burgers. Also next to Purgy's in the village was Paradise Pizza. The pizza was wonderful! There was a nice outdoor fireplace in the village where you could enjoy happy hour every day. The village had all kinds of summer activities for kids and nice shops open. We took the beautiful 30 minute drive to Durango every day for different activities. We loved the train ride to Silverton. We went white water rafting and toured the Mesa Verde National Park. So many wonderful restaurants and shops in Durango. We never got bored. The hike along the Animas River was so beautiful. This was our first summer trip to Colorado. So envious of the dry, cool temperatures. We don't get nice summer weather like that in Louisiana! We hope to make it back next year."

"I wanted to thank you for the best vacation I can ever remember. Your condo was clean roomy and had all the utensils you take for granted when on vacation.
The cool mountain air was a welcome change from the humid hot summer we have experienced this year. The views and wildlife were something you could only expect to see in an outdoor magazine. The fishing was great and when the fish weren't biting we spent our time hiking and exploring.
We had 6 in our party and the condo could accommodate 8. The private hot tub and the steam sauna were perfect for the cool evenings and brisk mornings. Although we fished, hiked, and spent time in the work out room this was the most relaxing vacation I can recall.
Already looking forward to next summer hope it is available sometime in June.

"We had the best week at this Townhome! Although it was hot in Durango the weather was perfect in Purgatory for reading books, fishing and hiking. The furniture in this townhome was so comfortable that we had a hard time leaving. We even stopped by The Yellow Carrot in Durango to pick up prepared meals so we could bring them back to bake at the townhome. Of course we would get back and open all the windows soak up all the fresh mountain air! We took a short drive to Silverton one day and took the most amazing hike called Highlands Mary Lake Trail. It was laced with wild flowers, rivers and waterfalls! Another day we brought the kids over to Hermosa creek east to do some fly fishing and caught and released around 10 Brookies. Finally our last adventure was riding up the train and getting dropped off at Cascade Falls to raft down the beautiful Animos River. Perfect vacation!"
