"Five of us stayed at the condo and cherished the cooler weather and the beautiful surroundings of the area. As a senior citizen, I did not partake of many of the activities of the resort but enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle from our balcony. The "Music on the Mountain" was such aa beautiful experience. Several of the guys went fishing and cooked a fabulous rainbow trout dinner one night. The condo was very clean, comfortable and practical. It filled all our needs."

"Had a terrific time at the ranch for a week and would definitely recommend staying here. Julie and her family are helpful yet private, it's great to know they are there if you need anything. My husband and I are "city folk" and we loved staying here, as it is quiet and has a lovely view of their ranch valley. Enjoyed watching the comings and goings on the ranch as they go to gather eggs, moving the herd in the distant field or as they drive by with the dogs in the back of the truck. Our first night there we headed over to their market for a burger and to buy eggs, cheese, snap peas, raspberries and strawberries...amazing. We enjoyed their burger and band night (btw there are no mosquitos to found anywhere on the ranch) and saw 3 deer eating in their meadow as we pulled into the driveway. Tremendously enjoyed a tour of their ranch with, the head of the family, Dave. Dave is so knowledgeable about holistic/organic farming it is an delight. We spent most days out driving around exploring; rafting Upper Animas, Mesa Verde, riding the steam engine train, driving the Million Dollar highway to Ouray. Always looked forward to returning for quiet evenings and mornings at the "place"."

"This is a great cabin that is well appointed and in beautiful condition. The views are great. I loved going to Electra Lake close by. Such a beautiful site. The cabin is close to a lot of different activities whether in Durango or Silverton. The aspens were changing and it was amazingly beautiful.
Kimberly, the manager is the best. I've never had such great service and care from a VRBO manager."

"This spacious house has an incredible mountain view from the decks and living room. It is located walking distance from the summer activities at the ski resort in Purgatory, Co, including Alpine slides, zip lining, concerts, and restaurants. I would recommend waiting until Tuesday or Wednesday to enjoy resort activities - it was busy Monday, then slowed down later in the week. Durango is convenient to get to for shopping, but far enough that you feel like you are away from the crowds. The owner makes sure needs are met and guest are comfortable. I would definitely recommend this home."
