"Overall we had a great stay and the house was very clean with lots of room and everything you need in the kitchen! I feel I do need to let future guests know that the cabin is 10 minutes outside of town the OPPOSITE direction of Purgatory Mtn, which means your drive to the activities on the mountain is 30-35 minutes. Also, when you first pull into the house on the shared driveway the house is situated behind two mobile homes and two Large RV driveways, not a great FIRST IMPRESSION. However, it is very private, there is really not a view but lots of room for the kids and parents to spread out, play ping pong, horse shoes, darts, hot tub, etc. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay for the price."

"I have been visiting Durango for over 30 years and taking my own children for the last 10. This was by far the best lodging experience I have had there. This home was the perfect location- close to town but with a country feel in beautiful scenery. The house had everything we needed and much more. It had plenty of room for our group of 8. The property management attends to every detail and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. The favorite part of our trip was just relaxing in this beautiful backyard. There is a short hike just behind the home. We did it every morning even with our young children. When adults needed some down time there were plenty of games, movies and even a Wii to keep kids entertained. I am so thankful we chose this home and that my children were able to experience the beauty of Durango that I have always loved."

Such a treat to find a beautiful, dog-friendly cabin with an amazing view!
"This was our first trip to Durango so I quite honestly had no idea what I was doing when I picked out a cabin. Boy did we luck out! We loved being a little ways north of town as this put us right in the middle of beautiful hiking trails. We probably spent 4-5 hours a day hiking various trails in the area with our dogs and the rest of the time relaxing at the cabin. The view from the porch is amazing and the cabin is fully stocked with necessities so I highly recommend spending your free time and having meals at "home". We visited James Ranch just down the street for some local beef/cheese and PJs Market to stock up on groceries. I think our only change in plan next time will be to swing by Ska on the way through town to stock up on beer. ;) The best part about the whole trip was that we were able to have our dogs. We travel with them often but not all dog-friendly properties are this nice. In fact, I feel like many are really not nice at all. This cabin is beautiful and clean and we made sure to keep it that way. :) We really appreciate the opportunity to bring the pups with us since it's really not as much of a vacation without them! Can't wait to come back!!"
