"Location is perfect and close walking-distance to a lot of things. Very clean and well-stocked. Owner is very friendly and attentive. Even found some lost keys for us and sent them out immediately to the owner of them."

"We stayed three nights at the Saint Franicis and were very happy with the accommodation. With several good breakfast restaurants, Durango Joe's coffee, a natural grocer and a great antique shop within a couple blocks walking distance, it was perfect for us. Also, Durango's main street was only about a 10 minute walk and a drive just up the hill brought you to the beautiful Fort Lewis College campus. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the basics, and the sitting area was nice for catching a Monday Night Football game. The only drawback was pretty constant traffic on the busy street out front during the day--less so at night--but with some earplugs not a big deal for us."

Comfortable home, but not quite ready for prime time.
"The home was definitely comfortable and extremely clean. It met our needs for a girl's getaway. We most enjoyed staying in a quiet residential neighborhood within a mile of downtown. Even in a small town, the rental rate represented big city prices and we felt the owner should have attended to more details. No bar soap for the bathrooms, only 2 face cloths for 3 guests, no paper towels in the kitchen, no doors on the MBR closet and no exhaust fan in the MBR bath. The outside spaces were very nice, but the lower patio was filled with weeds and the upper sitting area had very old splintery Adirondack chairs. The house was generally well stocked and pleasant, just needs a bit more TLC."

"Bucking Mule is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for something close to almost everything. We walked downtown almost every day to shop, eat, and play. The house is beautiful and has many upgrades. Holly has stocked the place with everything you'll need. She was great to work with and worked with us when we wanted to stay an extra day. The patio is amazing and perfect for small pets. I wish I could give it (and Holly) 6 stars! We will definitely be back to Bucking Mule. Thanks!"
