"This was the second summer we rented this home. We had five adults and two children with plenty of space and activities for everyone. The location is quiet and secluded, yet within easy driving distance of Durango. The owners provided excellent recommendations on local activities and amenities. We felt very welcome in this home."

August 2015 vacation trip to Durango - Elkpoint 11
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We enjoyed a great several days vacationing in Durnago. The EPA initiated contamination of the Animas river changed our plans, but we stil enjoyed our trip."

"What an amazing and relaxing cottage. So peaceful, it felt like home especially the way it was decorated gave it a true southwestern feel. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Hope to return in the future. Thanks"

"Our circumstances for staying at this property were unconventional, as we were in town to adopt our newborn daughter, and our arrival was very last minute. I was able to reach Ken directly by telephone, and after a brief discussion of our situation, he had us set up for the very next morning. Ken added a much needed human element to what would typically be a very transactional rental situation, and though I did not share it with him at the time, this level of kindness was very much needed. The property was beautiful, quiet, and meticulously kept. The first floor master was in the back of the home with guest bedrooms on the second floor in the front of the property, allowing us privacy to care for our new daughter, and room to host our new friends sharing the journey with us. The drive to downtown Durango was less than 15 minutes, and there was a grocery store less than a mile away which had everything we needed. The kitchen made preparing meals a pleasure and we found ourselves cooking in versus eating out, or ordering in which saved a lot of money. I would encourage anyone visiting the area to stay here if they appreciate both value and excellent amenities!"
