Convenient In Town Condo off Florida Road Met All Our Expectations
"Turning off Durango's venerable Florida Road into a well-kept quiet modern condo community for our 6-night stay, we found our accommodation spotlessly clean, well supplied, very comfortable. We appreciated features like 2 1/2 baths, both a balcony and a terrace, two car garage with additional parking available and walking distance to Ptarmigan Center. Visit Bread there for sandwiches, soup, best baked goods in town. Durango's annual summer Fiesta Days were just beginning, we rode the train to Silverton, drove to Mesa Verde National Park, enjoyed Carver's Restaurant and Serious Texas BBQ. Kids enjoyed their own room with twin beds. Adults had space for peace and quiet. Owner very easy to reach and work with. We found this property after a long search for something which would fit our needs and it did! We'll be back"

"My family with two young kids enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was tricky to find, as I felt like I had to drive through someone's backyard to get there. The location of the cabin is perfect and relaxing, with a great view from the front door and an even better view from the creek, which is about a 2 minute walk away. Kids loved the bunk beds and our bed was very comfy. Recommendations: bring soap (or be prepared to just use the dish soap), and bring your own coffee (I happened to come across it in the canister, but we did not like the taste at all!). We brought our dog (and they were kind enough to let us borrow a kennel), but I think the carpets could use a deep cleaning. Kinda had the smell that dogs had been in there over the years. It's a 40 minute drive to Durango, but there are a couple very small markets, to make meals, and restaurants/bar/music nearby around the lake. Overall, we'd love to come back and would recommend it to anyone, in fact already have!"

"We loved our stay in this simple studio just outside of Durango. The room was very big and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was on the small side, but what more do you need other than the essentials? The water temperature and pressure on the shower was perfect. The property had a beautiful little waterfall that we could hear at night. We stayed during a rather hot weekend in Durango, but with the air conditioner and opening the windows at night, we were very comfortable. The nice thing is this property is nestled within the trees next to a cliff on the east side of town, so it doesn't get direct hot morning sun and is protected from the hot afternoon sun too.
I don't see a reason why we'd stay anywhere else while in Durango."

"We are so glad we chose to rent this house instead of staying in a hotel. Very comfortable beds, fun decor, and a well-stocked with staples and amenities. The views made staying in the house better than going out!"
