  • Lovely, Cozy Cabin

"This lovely cabin is the perfect place for a family vacation! It is roomy and cozy with everything you could ever want. The listing description is accurate, the appearance and amenities are better than the pictures show, and the cabin is clean and maintained very well. There is plenty of room for reading, playing games, or hanging out on the patio or deck. The property manager is extremely helpful and available when needed. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family! The cabin is 20 miles from Durango, and it is a beautiful drive. We went into Durango many times and enjoyed the scenery with every trip. We visited Durango, Mesa Verde, Silverton, and four lakes in the area. The only negative was that Electra Lake was closed for repair of some pipes, but that just made us explore the area to find the other pretty lakes around. We found many places to hike at Haviland Lake and Spud Lake. All were beautiful and fun! The hot tub was an extra bonus that was enjoyed by all each evening. We all wanted to stay for another week - we will be back! Loved it!!!!"

  • Wonderful weekend at the lodge

"We had a fantastic time, the resort is beautiful and the condo has a super view of the mountains, well stocked, we had everything we needed. I highly recommend it. The only thing we thought we had and didnt was access to the hot tub. Was disappointed about that."

  • Condo review of 201050!

"It was perfect for my college son and his friend and I. The kitchen was well equipped which I really appreciate as well as the bathroom. I like having a TV in the bedroom for some separation and privacy from my college son's night owlish movie watching with his college friend. It would have been nice to have WIFi or access to WIFi! I would have given an excellent rating .It was neat and clean. The view was awesome and we enjoyed the nice balconies. The slopes were a brief and easy walk across parking lot. Thanks for sharing your condo with us."

Durango Travel Tips

Vacation in the Mountains at Durango Vacation Homes

Durango is a beautiful mountain resort in Colorado, and the best way to enjoy your vacation is by staying in one of the Durango vacation homes.

Vacation rentals provide you with a home away from home where you can enjoy amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, private bedrooms, family areas, decks and more.

When choosing your Durango lodging, look beyond the normal hotels. Why stay in a small impersonal hotel room when you can enjoy the space and comfort of a vacation home? Hotels can be noisy with neighbors slamming doors, running down the hallways and blasting the volume on their television. Your hopes for a relaxing vacation can be ruined in an instant.

All the Comforts of Home

Rent a privately owned Durango lodging, and you'll be transported to the best of both worlds—a gorgeous mountain resort while relaxing in a rental with all the comforts of home.

Each of the Durango vacation rentals has its own particular charm, amenities and accommodations that spell comfort and privacy. In some of the rentals you'll find enough private rooms and sleeping quarters such as lofts to fit the entire family or group of friends. Many of the rentals have washers and dryers, cable or satellite television, decks and patios with barbecues and gorgeous lake or mountain views.

If you're looking for luxury, you can find a rental with a hot tub, fireplace, gourmet kitchen and luxurious bedding.

Activities Galore in Durango

You won't get bored when you stay in Durango, and your vacation home gives you easy access to all the area's activities. In the winter you can ski, snowmobile, take horse-drawn sleigh rides and snowboard. In the summer, Vallecito Lake offers swimming and boating. Or just sit on the deck of your Durango vacation home and enjoy the surrounding nature.
