Recent Gunnison property reviews

  • Warm, comfortable and well-equipped

"Our family spent 3 nights, celebrating a graduation from Western State and we loved our stay. The home was even roomier than we expected and a perfect place to gather, prepare meals and host a cookout and party. The kitchen is beautiful and nicely equipped, bedrooms roomy, and backyard private. We especially appreciated the propane grill! The owner is very responsive and helpful, even allowing us to take a peek at the property the previous week while we were passing through Gunnison."

  • Great place to stay!

"Great place to stay. House was nice and clean with a great layout. It was a great location for our needs, just a short drive to Taylor Park, Crested Butte, and Black Canyon for ATV riding and some spectacular scenery. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks for everything Drew, we had an awesome time!"

  • All You Need for a Quiet, Relaxing Escape

"The property title says it all - Charming Duckpond Cottage! This is a clean, well-equipped, cozy cottage with a great gas fireplace, comfortable furniture, and a comfortable bed (slept in master). The cottage is set back from the main house and private. Access is via an electric gate, for which you get your own remote. The ducks, geese, and Alpacas on the property were great entertainment and were quiet; no early morning wake up calls. Doug was a gracious host (Lee was out of town) and stopped by to make sure everything was in order and to give us suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. Garlic Mike's is just down the road towards town and lived up to its excellent on-line reviews. Wonderful food and great service. We would definitely stay here again when in Gunnison. Thanks Doug!"

  • Great Place to Stay!

"This home was beautiful and kept very well also. I could not have asked for a better place. Actually the pictures on VRBO does not do the home justice. It was so beautiful and comfortable. The owner was great at answering any questions we had and always got back to us quickly. I would definately recommend for others to stay here. I would like to stay again myself if I go back to Gunnison. It is a bit of a drive to town about 6 miles, but it is worth it. Can't beat the view. It helped us all unwind which is what we wanted to do for our vacation. It's worth the price and the drive."
