  • If you love the outdoors and really want to get away from it all...

"This is the place to be! Fishing, hunting, county roads to OHV trails from north and south of the house, ranch life, white water rafting, horseback riding, etc. My family was in heaven, the week we stayed, on their dirt bikes and ATVs most of the time. Be sure to get the topographical maps from the Forest office in Gunnison. Pitkin and Tin Cup are neat towns to ride to. The house was very roomy for 2 families and really appreciated the washer and dryer. Very convenient to Gunnison (20 min), Crested Butte (1 hr, shopping) and 2 National Parks (about 1 hr, Black Canyon of the Gunnison & Curecanti w/Morrow boat tour). Owners were great to work with, be patient with return calls and emails."

  • Second time just as perfect

"We have stayed at many VRBO properties - this is the only one we have come back to and actually PLANNED our vacation around the few open dates (3 months in advance even). I can't say enough about this river home - very comfortable, beautiful back yard with river, super location, and this time we did get to meet Martin. We again did the boat tour on the Black Canyon of the Gunnison (reservations only) - this time went on up to Crested Butte. We wanted to do a float trip with Three Rivers, but the weather was not special the one day we had. Because of the river,I would worry about very young children, it is very swift and cold (I am told), but any one else should love this home. Most VRBO properties do not have mustard, ketchup, etc, but the folks that rent this property leave food, which is great for the next group coming in. Do NOT expect this on your other rentals if this is the first VRBO you have been to. Thank you, again, Martin for you wonderful home."

  • Very Comfortable!

"My husband and I spent the entire month of July here and enjoyed our stay very much. It was even more spacious than we had anticipated and located close enough to walk to downtown Gunnison, to the rodeo grounds for Cattlemen's Week and to the park for the Fourth of July fireworks. It was very quiet at night and well-equipped. We found our hosts to be very friendly and responsive!"

  • Fantastic Getaway!

"Our family spent a week at this location and had a wonderful time. Very spacious and complete. Lots of solitude. It's central location provides so many opportunities to do pretty much whatever you desire. The views are wonderful and Gunnison is close by for supplies. We've used VRBO quite a bit thru the years but this location is one of the best we're ever rented."
