  • Close to Nordic Center, Ice skating rink, sledding hill, and the shuttle stop is around the corner!

"Great location, and a very pleasant and functional home, perfect for our family of 5. The parking in the back was a big plus, as we watched the neighbors move their cars from one side of the street to the other every day. There is a natural food store a block and 1/2 away, called Mountain Earth - it's like mini Whole Foods. A wonderful bakery/breakfast place called Mountain Oven/The Guild is 5 min walk away. There was so much snow: we xc skied through town to nordic trails. Watching the torchlight parade on the mountain on New Year's eve from the top bedroom windows was a bonus. We found the place very quiet, despite its proximity to Elk street restaurants and bars. The shuttle stop is around the corner and it's really easy to get to the mountain. The kids went to the ice skating rink or to the sledding hill for their Après-ski activity every day! We would like to stay here on our next trip to Crested Butte, thank you, Daniel and Kate!"

  • Wood Family

"Absolutely the best vacation. Argenta Falls Cabin was perfect. Loved the location, secluded, on the Alpine Loop, yet just 10 minutes to Lake City. Cabin was clean, well equipped with everything you need. Loved the large porch for morning coffee or relaxing after a full day exploring. We hiked Handies Peak, Jeeped the Alpine Loop, Kayak on Lake San Cristobal, Moose stalked at Deer Lakes, Horseback rides at Vickers Ranch, Michael Martin Murphy outdoor concert at the Sportsman Gas Station. Small town filled with so much to do. Will be back again."

  • Great Place to stay for a weekend

"For the 2nd year in a row we rented this unit for a guys ski weekend. The place is always immaculate and the prop. mgr Paige is always super helpful with any questions. The beds are super comfy, which helps after skiing the Headwall and North Face all day. The view from the unit is great. There's always firewood stocked and ready for us. It's a short walk across the bridge to the Silver Queen lift which is a great bonus. It's also steps away from the town shuttle. The complex is built on a hill, so get comfortable with climbing up and down stairs. This isn't the place for you if you need accessibility options. The upstairs bedroom works for grown men, but if you're 6'+ you'll be more comfortable in the lower bedrooms. DON'T FORGET TO PUT YOUR PARKING PERMIT ON YOUR CAR!! We got booted, because it wasn't easily visible (I have no rear-view mirror and the pass had gotten covered by junk on the dash)...the boot-dude let us off, but that would have a serious negative if we'd had to pay $200. We love it here and will be back next year again. P.S. The HOA at Snowcrest should get the hot-tub jet function working...2 years in a row it has been broken."

  • Not quite perfect

"The house was as expected - comfortable, cozy, and in a great location. We enjoyed our time at the house and all the shopping and dining on Elk Ave. Great home for pet owners. If you prefer privacy, this is not your place - window shades are hung only in the bedroom and bathroom, otherwise you are on display to the Ginger Cafe and Elk Ave shoppers. Would be nice to have a queen bed rather than the double bed in the master suite. Property management needs to be improved - manager does not respond timely to inquires (or at all in some cases). Manager changed the rate on us after we booked - stating it was her mistake, but it was Spring Break, so she had to charge us more. We never received our pet deposit refund, although we were verbally told it would be refunded - the manager did not return our requests/communications."
