"We had a wonderful two-night stay! The owner was very friendly, and took the extra effort to contact us and coordinate for our arrival time. The facilities are very clean and as advertised. We were just coming off of several nights in corporate motels, and it was so nice to be able to stretch out and cook our own dinner."

"We always try to stay in private homes on our vacations and this was one of the best. Impeccably decorated and in beautiful shape. Great location near Cortez and Mesa Verde National Park in a quiet location. Everything needed for a great stay is included. And to top it off, the owners are extremely nice and helpful. If we return to the area in the future, we will be sure to stay here again."

"This peaceful cabin worked out great for us. The views were magnificent and helped us feel
calm and relaxed. It is a little out of town, but very manageable. How else are you going to get those breathtaking views? It's proximity to Mesa Verde was perfect. My family hiked the Canyons of the Ancients - Sand Canyon Trailhead. They thought they were going on a 6.5 mi. hike, but be forewarned it actually ended up being closer to 14 mi. I picked them up on the other side and it took about 40 mins. to drive there. Because of the hazy weather we weren't able to experience the sunsets, but maybe we can on the next trip. We only had one little concern, the boards on the porch. Towards the boards' end they curl up and make for an uneven walking surface. We had no problems with our phones working. We got to see the sheep and the sheep dogs visited us for only a brief moment. The rooster did his thing too! Overall, we had a great little break from our busy lives."
