What a beautiful location! We can't wait to return!
"This was our second visit to Paradise Ranch, and we can't wait to go back!
The rooms were spacious, and the beds comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern, well-appointed and well-equipped. Although we go to Paradise Ranch to get away from TV and the computer, out teenage daughter informed us that there are many, many satellite TV channels to choose from, as well as a wide selection of DVDs. We found the property to be very clean and well-maintained. The photos don't do it justice! In short: all the comforts of home!
In addition to all the modern comforts and conveniences, there was a welcome rustic feeling to the property. You can walk to the river in minutes for fishing, and there is direct national forest access from the property. It is far enough away from town to provide a feeling of seclusion, but close enough to enjoy the hot springs, shopping and other activities. We were only about 40 minutes away from Wolf Creek Ski area. The scenery was spectacular, with views of the mountains by day, and the Milky Way by night, unobstructed by city lights. (For you astronomy nerds, on a moonless night, the Andromeda galaxy is naked-eye visible!) We also saw numerous elk and deer on the property nearly every day, including the largest elk we've ever seen one evening as we were pulling back onto the property from a visit to Pagosa Springs.
We would recommend this property for friends and relatives, and we plan to return ourselves!"

"My wife, our two Yorkies, and I spent 4 days at the cabin in Pagosa Springs in July. The home was lovely and well furnished with stove, microwave. etc. We only used the master bedroom but the bed was very comfortable and the room was quite spacious. The home was in a very quite setting yet only 3 miles from town. My wife enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the large deck. One evening while sitting on the deck, we saw a deer. Wew would definitely stay here again."

"This very clean townhome provided a beautiful and relaxing place for our family vacation with close friends. The balcony off the dining area faces the river. From this balcony we could see the riverwalk and path to downtown Pagosa and The Springs Resort.
We spent a lovely day at the hot springs and massage resort. We spent 2 other days floating on inner-tubes down the San Juan River. I am a weak swimmer and feared inner-tubing, but I had so much fun! The kids and everyone else did, too! (We had a great experience renting equipment twice from Pagosa Outside, also within walking distance.)
We were able to cook dinner nearly every night in a kitchen that is better equipped than most home kitchens. A large supermarket and bakery are a short drive away. (For those who prefer not to cook, downtown Pagosa offers several delicious restaurants.)
The dining table is far bigger than it looks in the above pictures. It allowed our group to happily linger over meals. The room is bright and cheerful. During the day, our kids liked reading and playing games on the sofas and chairs in this room. They also enjoyed the cable TV and cartoon channels.
The master bedroom is huge and clean. The bed is very comfortable. I slept well during this vacation! If you open the windows, you can drift off to the relaxing sounds of the river. On many mornings, we saw adorable families of deer and a beaver-like creature come and munch on grass outside our windows.
If you are not accustomed to high altitudes of 7,500 feet, plan to stay a few extra days. Spend the first two days relaxing before you jump into all the fun activities Pagosa has to offer."

"Why stay in a hotel when you can have all the space for around the same price. We had 6 in our group and it was just enough room. It's a older place but worked just great for us. The manager was super nice."
