Wonderful comfort, amazing location, everything you need
"The Lazy Bear is amazing! We relaxed in the hot tub while listening to the beautiful babble of the river. We grilled outside and cooked in the well stocked kitchen. We even found a slow cooker to make pot roast waiting for us after a day of fishing. We awoke to find mule deer grazing just off the deck.
Everything is supplied. I made my usual run to the grocery store before we got there for my favorite toilet paper and found a cabinet stuffed full of the exact same brand when we arrived!
We loved the Lazy Bear so much we are already planning a visit next year and hopefully again this fall. There are things to do in the area absolutely year round we can't wait to explore Pagosa Springs from our new cozy home base!"

"This is the "fluties" favorite place to visit. The views are awesome and the house really is great. We play music, visit , and of course enjoy wonderful mountain views.
After so many return visits here, we call it our Home too.
The color was great on the mountain as well as on a day trip to Silverton.
We will be back again."

"We stayed for a week and it was wonderful with a central location to walk or drive a short distance for necessities. Highly recommend this rental for a family or group, with updated amenities and seamless process to rent! Great Job Stephanie!"

"We come to Pagosa every year with our grandchildren who look forward to it all year long. This house felt like home except for the fact that the first morning, we awoke to a construction crew working on the outside of the house. What we found out was that due to an unseasonable wet spring, the construction that started in March was long overdue to be complete. The owner (who is out of state) more than bent over backward to make things right. She stopped work immediately and called numerous times to make sure we were ok. The house is far enough from town to feel remote, but close enough that we can be in town within 15 minutes. We are a group of 10 and aged from 4 to 67. The hiking was glorious, there was plenty of room for the kids to ride their bikes and motor bike and I will hate to stop my morning ritual of having coffee on the front steps at 6am, where a wild rafter of turkeys came to visit every morning right up to the house. Tonight we saw 6 gorgeous bucks watching us in all their glory as we stopped to take pictures. We definitely recommend this house to you!"
