"Lovely apartment. Very private, fully stocked kitchen, extremely clean. We spent a long adventurous weekend on our dual sport motorcycles exploring the area. Drove the million dollar highway, crossed Ophir Pass, toured a mine, ended our vacation on the Durango to Silverton train...simply had a wonderful time. As frequent travelers, we are adept at 'making do' with accommodations that are not quite what we expected. However, this location/apartment had MORE than expected and was a real treat. Highly recommended."

"This is an incredible house with unique characters located in a convenient location, we couldn't have asked for more. We had a long weekend getaway to Ridgway and Ouray with friends and found the house very comfortable and the views are fantastic. The drive through the aspen trees lined driveway was wonderful. The house feels secluded yet close to town and it was easy to get take out and groceries when needed after a long day of hiking. David is an amazing host and made sure all our needs were met as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future."

"I hate to write this review because that will mean more compitition to renting this wonderful GEM! The house was fantastic, everything we needed. It was great to come back after a long, wet ( and I mean wet) hike to a hot shower and cozy house. Washing machine came in handy with our wet dirty hiking clothes. Bud, our cat, first long stay loved exploring house and yard. He may visit again if we bring his toys.
Entertainment in the town and house was great for those rainy no hiking days. See you in September, Lee."
