  • Nice condo! Great location

"The condo was nice with everything exactly as shown in pictures. Elevator and underground parking was great for getting everything up to the room. The condo was well maintained and property management fixed teh one issue we had with a humidifier right away. 3 minute walk to gondola and the lifts. Highly recommended"

  • Fantastic stay at Geigerhaus for a family reunion

"We spent a week here in mid-June for a rare family reunion (19 people, ranging in age from 11 to 88) and had a wonderful time in this gracious and spacious mountain home. It was the perfect size for us, with enough room for everyone to have privacy when needed and plenty of open, shared space for the larger group to hang out and dine together. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated (high-end furnishings, nice attention to detail, hotel-like amenities such as rain shower-heads in some of the bathrooms, nice toiletries) and very well-maintained. It looks like a house that the owners themselves would want to live in, not just a house for rentals. Most of our group have travelled extensively, and appreciate when a place feels both like home but also luxurious. The kitchen was large and well-stocked, even with appreciated items such as paper products and basic spices. We ate most of our dinners at home given the size of our group, and there was plenty of dining space. The house is unusually well-stocked with entertainment amenities that the younger crowd really enjoyed: pool table, foosball table, mountain bikes, games & puzzles, DVDs and CDs (although we only watched one movie), etc. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck and using the hot-tub. The town of Telluride is small but charming -- good restaurants (we mostly ate lunches out, except for one very nice steak dinner at the New Sheridan Chop House), many cute dogs, and some interesting shops. The gondola ride was a highlight! We happened to be there at the start of the Bluegrass Festival, so we also spent a day doing that. But we were glad we had arrived days before the festival because it was quieter and less crowded. We also visited Black Canyon (about an hour and a half away) and Alta Lakes (beautiful and worth the hike!). Our more adventurous family members did a lot of mountain biking and running up and down the mountain. I personally couldn't do that because the high altitude made breathing more difficult -- I was winded after going up and down the stairs (and I'm in good shape)! I would definitely recommend this house for family get-togethers! The owners were very helpful and friendly in their communications. The only suggestion I would make would be to add an additional bathroom on the lowest level since there were 10 people sharing one bathroom on that level (so the kids ended up using the upstairs bathrooms). Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful home!"

  • Excellent Condo!!

"Great escape from the Texas summer heat. My family (including our Boston Terrier) really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo is clean, recently remodeled, has a great view and an awesome king-size bed. The photos and condo description were accurate. Also, Laurie was very helpful in communicating with me and giving tips and instructions before our arrival. Crazy Elk delivers delicious pizza!! I would definitely recommend Laurie's condo to friends and family. We had a great time."

  • Great place to stay

"Graysill was very nice. All was as advertised. Everything worked, was nice and clean, and the manager was responsive and provided fine customer service. The Bluegrass Festival packs the town and it was great to be able to retreat to a quiet, comfortable spot when we needed to. The only downsides: Lots of stairs and at nearly 9,000 feet, carrying our stuff was a test of endurance. There's just one inside parking space."
