  • Great value and good location

"Our family of four (15 and 12 year old kids) stayed here in late March. The condo is a good size, well maintained (but not fancy), stocked with everything you'll need, and in a very good location for accessing the mountain. Telluride has a great gondola/chondola system that means you can leave your car at the condo and take chondola/gondolas up to the Mountain Village AND the town of Telluride for skiing and for dinners. They run until midnight (and are free unless you're skiing) so it makes it very easy to skip driving. The chondola is about 200 yards from the condo so its an easy walk to ski or take the chondola to go to dinner. This condo is a great value for its location and size. We would definitely stay here again."

  • We Loved Telluride!!!

"Wonderful Family Vacation Beautiful home in Mountain Village. Main floor was beautiful with a lot of amenities. Kitchen is fully stocked with all your need to make a fabulous dinner. All we had to do was go to the supermarket that was just a few minutes away. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and prepared an incredible feast. Downstairs gave our 3 children a nice escape from the adults where they watched movies and enjoyed themselves in the wonderful hot tub. The master bed room was incredible we loved the bed which was super comfy, there was a steam shower which was nice as well. Best of all was the ability to get to skiing and back to the house so easily. With 3 children that was very important. We will defiantly be going back!!"

  • Incredible Winter Stay

"My now wife and I decided on this house for our small wedding this past winter, going on faith the photographs, description, and house manager's comments were all accurate. Upon arrival, we were delighted the house exceeded our expectations! The rooms were all very well furnished, the reclaimed wood was gorgeous, the kitchen was fit for a chef, and the location was unbeatable. The window in the main room with a straight shot view of the valley, waterfall (frozen), and mountain ridges were the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and for the rest our stay. The house was very comfortable in all aspects, making it a perfect setting, far enough away to feel secluded, but close enough for a brisk walk to town, even in the snow. Additionally, the house manager was very attentive and a pleasure to interact with, making the details of getting in and out very easy. I highly recommend this home for all, we will be back!"

  • Heaven for skiers

"My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for most of the ski season, Jan.-closing day, 2014. You can't ask for a better location if you're a skier and want to be close to the gondola, as well as within walking distance of everything else Telluride has to offer. We had driven from Massachusetts, so we had a car, but we left it parked in the driveway most of the time we were in Telluride. Walking is the way to go in Telluride, where nearly everything is only a few blocks away from 460 Depot Ave. The house is comfortable and well-equipped for family groups, and our skiing family members who visited were thrilled to be there with us. Breakfast in the cheerful dining area was usually enlivened by the view of the famous Telluride Trail bear, a bronze sculpture in the house's back yard which is a photo op "must" for strolling parents and kids. Depot Avenue is a delightful "private" street which is basically a pedestrian walkway leading to the gondola area. The houses are close together but still very private, and there is a wonderful neighborhood feel to the area. Telluride is the most beautiful ski area in North America, we think, and the skiing is as challenging or as easy as you want it to be. Expert skiers can ride the lifts with less advanced skiers, and everybody can find as much fun as they can handle on the runs, and meet back at the lift. We were blessed with excellent conditions for our whole time in town. For a small place, Telluride has more terrific restaurants per capita than anyplace else we've been, and one of the best, Cosmo's, is right down the block from 460 Depot, in the Hotel Columbia. We made that 2 minute walk for dinner quite a few times! Nancy is a friendly and conscientious landlord/host. She even made sure that fresh flowers and succulents graced several rooms at the beginning of our stay. If you value convenience and proximity to all that Telluride has to offer, you can't go wrong with this vacation rental property."
