  • Great place for a couple

"The place was very clean, check-in/check-out was hassle-free, and everything was pretty much exactly as advertised. This is a perfect place to stay in basically pay the price of a hotel room, but get the conveniences of a real apartment. The full size kitchen is awesome and a huge benefit in a town like Telluride where restaurant prices are generally pretty high. It's on the 2nd floor and there are large windows, so you get lots of natural light which is very nice. Parking and bike racks right outside. It's a studio so there isn't a lot of space, but it worked perfectly for me and my girlfriend. The loft is fine for sleeping(king size bed) and you won't bang your head when you wake up, but the ceiling is definitely too low to stand or get dressed up basically just climb up the ladder and crawl onto the bed...just something to consider if you have limited mobility. There's a little desktop rotating fan in the apartment that was nice to have on the warmer nights. There's a small old school tv and dvd player, although we didn't use them. Wifi connection was strong during our entire stay and worked great. The couch was alright to lay on and read, but it's really not the most comfortable/functional piece of furniture. Bathroom was normal sized and pretty standard, the only suggestion I would have is to maybe change the shower head to one that has a better spray. Telluride is so small and literally all of it is incredibly nice, so you really can't go wrong no matter where you stay, but the location of this place is perfect. It's in a residential part of town so it's quiet at night, but you are still right in town so you can walk a few blocks to all the shops/restaurants/gondola/hiking trailheads/park/river trail/etc. The shuttle is pretty unnecessary during summer, but there's a stop close by which is nice to have during winter. Finally, the owner Hildy is really, really nice and very easy to communicate with. Some VRBO landlords can be a gigantic pain in the ass before/during/after your stay, so this is a HUGE plus."

  • Perfect location, awesome vacation!

"We spent 6 lovely days here for our family ski vacation. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and glorious skiing on Telluride Mountain. We had no complaints about the unit and location. Highlights: 1). From the moment we stepped in, it was obvious the unit was clean, well laid out and WARM. I can't say enough for radiant heating. The floors were comfortable to walk on barefoot, and the fire provided extra heat with the flip of a switch. The only room that was slightly cooler than the others was the room with the two twin beds, and fortunately there was a heater on a timer for that. Kids were very comfortable. We could look right out our window at the community hot tub. We appreciated having the choice of indoor vs. outdoor hot tubs! The kitchen was perfectly equipped and we did cook in on 2 nights. Can't say enough for having the additional half bath. With two people sharing the other baths, the half bath came in handy on many occasions. Also loved the closet in the outside hallway to keep all our skis and gear. 2). We weren't sure before we arrived if we would like Mountain Village or Telluride town better. Turns out being in town was the best choice. We could literally walk to the grocery store through the hallway and town hall while being outside for only 60 secs. So convenient! The city bus picked up every 10 min right in front of the lodge for a quick trip to the gondola or downtown Telluride. We could walk out of the building and cut through another group of apartments and reach the wine/liquor store in 3 min. For skiing out in the mornings, we just walked across the street and jumped on Lift 7 (NO LINES!) We also rented our equipment at Telluride Sports and got our lift tickets at Lift 7. So much quieter and convenient with no lines unlike the crowds at Mountain Village. All in all, a wonderful spot and condo! When we return to Telluride, we will definitely stay in this unit!"

  • Best of both worlds

"If your looking for a great price and the best views in Telluride, then this is the place for you. The condo had everything we needed. The view is outstanding and being able to walk to shops and restaurant made our stay perfect. This is not a luxury condo, (as it's not advertised as one) But it's clean and very cozy, I think a good word to use is Bohemian, which fits the Telluride area perfectly. My husband and I would highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed! The owner made it very easy. We will use this Condo again next year for our 22nd Anniversary!"

  • Excellent Ski Vacation

"You could not find a better location in Telluride. This condo is literally right above the Coonskin lift. Besides the great location, the condo is well layed out and has everything you need for a great ski vacation. This was my first time skiing in Telluride and I look forward to going back and staying at this location again in the future."
