  • Seclusion without isolation

"Perched high above Ridgway, surrounded by pinyon pines and junipers, there is plenty of privacy complemented with exceptional mountain views from the cottage and the property. It's an easy drive into Ridgway or Ouray for the amenities of town. The mountains are also easily accessed for all they have to offer. The cottage itself is very comfortable - no rustic cabin! It was very cozy for the two of us. We'll be back!"

  • Well-appointed, Great Views

"Enjoyed a very wonderful stay at this condo. The living-room and hot tub views of the mountain were incredible. We had a full group of ten people, and we were very comfortably accommodated. The kitchen was great--well stocked with quality cookware, with a wonderful gas range, and we enjoying having a proper dining room for group meals. The owners were pleasant to work with and make the stay very easy. Oh, and it snowed 14" our last night, which made skiing the next day icing on the cake."

  • Private mountain retreat

"Cabin was in an excellent secluded area outside of town. It was nicely appointed with everything you need. We enjoyed warm fires, bunnies, birds, hiking, and just enjoying the peace and serenity. We loved seeing the beautiful sunsets and the eagle take flight from the meadow. If you want to get away and commune with nature this is the place. Ken was easy to work with and we had no problems at all."

  • Family Spring Break Ski Trip Stay

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Viking Lodge 217 was a nice little condo that was centrally located to where we wanted to go. It was clean and the perfect size for our family of four. My only suggestion is to bring extra bath towels as they will charge you $20 if you request extra bath towels. Otherwise you can use the coin operated laundry room and wash them yourself. The window seat has a great view and is a nice serene place to sit."
