  • Excellent Ski Vacation

"You could not find a better location in Telluride. This condo is literally right above the Coonskin lift. Besides the great location, the condo is well layed out and has everything you need for a great ski vacation. This was my first time skiing in Telluride and I look forward to going back and staying at this location again in the future."

  • Great place for a couple

"The place was very clean, check-in/check-out was hassle-free, and everything was pretty much exactly as advertised. This is a perfect place to stay in town...you basically pay the price of a hotel room, but get the conveniences of a real apartment. The full size kitchen is awesome and a huge benefit in a town like Telluride where restaurant prices are generally pretty high. It's on the 2nd floor and there are large windows, so you get lots of natural light which is very nice. Parking and bike racks right outside. It's a studio so there isn't a lot of space, but it worked perfectly for me and my girlfriend. The loft is fine for sleeping(king size bed) and you won't bang your head when you wake up, but the ceiling is definitely too low to stand or get dressed up there...you basically just climb up the ladder and crawl onto the bed...just something to consider if you have limited mobility. There's a little desktop rotating fan in the apartment that was nice to have on the warmer nights. There's a small old school tv and dvd player, although we didn't use them. Wifi connection was strong during our entire stay and worked great. The couch was alright to lay on and read, but it's really not the most comfortable/functional piece of furniture. Bathroom was normal sized and pretty standard, the only suggestion I would have is to maybe change the shower head to one that has a better spray. Telluride is so small and literally all of it is incredibly nice, so you really can't go wrong no matter where you stay, but the location of this place is perfect. It's in a residential part of town so it's quiet at night, but you are still right in town so you can walk a few blocks to all the shops/restaurants/gondola/hiking trailheads/park/river trail/etc. The shuttle is pretty unnecessary during summer, but there's a stop close by which is nice to have during winter. Finally, the owner Hildy is really, really nice and very easy to communicate with. Some VRBO landlords can be a gigantic pain in the ass before/during/after your stay, so this is a HUGE plus."

  • Fantastic Mountain Getaway

"This cabin was everything you could hope for. From the beautiful and spacious accommodations to the great location and view. Very convenient location to town and a short walking distance to a great bakery and small grocery store. This cabin also works great when you are sharing it with another family. The downstairs master and guest room allow for privacy and the common area is spacious and open. The kids loved their own loft with a fun built in twin bed and comfortable queen bed. We will definitely be returning to this cabin. A true home away from home!"

  • Lovely ski vacation and wonderful condo!

"This place is very nice - modern, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. I would stay here again. You can either cross the street and jump right onto a ski trail, or, as we did, walk the extra 2 minutes to the Gondola which takes you to the main village plaza area (by chair 4) where you can store all your ski stuff in a locker and not have to carry it back and forth. Our daughter was in ski school every day which meets at chair 4, so we like the convenience of leaving our skis there and having a hot drink while we wait for her to get done. Then you can casually take the gondola home whenever you are ready. (note: we did pay for an indoor locker, but I believe there is free outdoor storage depending on where you get your tickets). In the past we stay right on the mountain by chair 4 with ski access right out your front door, but for the money, this place was nicer, bigger, and huge bonus being right next to the grocery store if you need anything. We stopped at the store each night on our way home from skiing and it couldn't be more convenient. Bring your snow boots though, because you can cut through shortcuts from the condo to the store/gondola if you don't mind tromping through some snow. This particular condo has a great spot being pool level, close to path for skiing, by the elevator, and next to clubhouse. However, I don't recommend the outdoor jacuzzi - it is in serious need of a makeover! But this condo has an indoor jacuzzi that is very nice. I personally prefer the outdoor experience and was very disappointed about not being able to enjoy that. That was probably the only thing that disappointed me the entire trip, so I'll call it a win!"
