  • Great Vacation

"We were looking for a place that would provide us a much needed break and access to hiking and fishing, two things we enjoy on holiday. Wild Iris provided us a clean and comfortable place to stay, well equipped for relaxation and cooking when we wanted to stay in, and a great location for taking in the convenience of the local bars and restaurants, as well as all the activities that Crested Butte has to offer. It was really nice to arrive, park the car, and not have to use it until we left. This was our first visit to the area and we're always abit apprehensive when selecting a new house to rent, but Charlie, the owner, made the process easy and was generous in answering our questions about the house and area. All in all and very good experience. We're already looking forward to a return trip and will definitely be staying at Wild Iris."

  • Girl trip

"Condo was as described, very clean, excellent location. Lots of activities to do at the resort, we were looking forward to the Alpine slide but unfortunately it closed for the season the day before. Ate at all the recommended places and was not disappointed. Rode the train to Silverton (awesome) and visited Mesa Verde and Ouray. Wanted to see Black Canyon of the Gunnison but ran out of time so we will be back and we will stay at this same condo! Highly recommend this property and owner."

  • Wonderful experience.

"My husband and I spent a week in this beautiful home away from home. Everything was very neat and clean. I would highly recommend a stay here. Our main goal on the trip was to relax and view the scenic beauty of Colorado. We were not disappointed. A special treat at our cabin/home was the parade of deer that walked past our deck every morning. Our dealings with Marsha could not have been more pleasant. I felt as if I was talking on the phone to an old friend. We jeeped the Colorado "rocky" mountain trails and visited the site where John Wayne had his final shoot out in "True Grit". The Aspens were gorgeous at that time of the year. I can only imagine the winter here with snow on the ground and a fire in the stove. If you are trying to decide on a place to stay, look no further. We definitely plan to go again."
