  • Great place for a couple

"The place was very clean, check-in/check-out was hassle-free, and everything was pretty much exactly as advertised. This is a perfect place to stay in town...you basically pay the price of a hotel room, but get the conveniences of a real apartment. The full size kitchen is awesome and a huge benefit in a town like Telluride where restaurant prices are generally pretty high. It's on the 2nd floor and there are large windows, so you get lots of natural light which is very nice. Parking and bike racks right outside. It's a studio so there isn't a lot of space, but it worked perfectly for me and my girlfriend. The loft is fine for sleeping(king size bed) and you won't bang your head when you wake up, but the ceiling is definitely too low to stand or get dressed up there...you basically just climb up the ladder and crawl onto the bed...just something to consider if you have limited mobility. There's a little desktop rotating fan in the apartment that was nice to have on the warmer nights. There's a small old school tv and dvd player, although we didn't use them. Wifi connection was strong during our entire stay and worked great. The couch was alright to lay on and read, but it's really not the most comfortable/functional piece of furniture. Bathroom was normal sized and pretty standard, the only suggestion I would have is to maybe change the shower head to one that has a better spray. Telluride is so small and literally all of it is incredibly nice, so you really can't go wrong no matter where you stay, but the location of this place is perfect. It's in a residential part of town so it's quiet at night, but you are still right in town so you can walk a few blocks to all the shops/restaurants/gondola/hiking trailheads/park/river trail/etc. The shuttle is pretty unnecessary during summer, but there's a stop close by which is nice to have during winter. Finally, the owner Hildy is really, really nice and very easy to communicate with. Some VRBO landlords can be a gigantic pain in the ass before/during/after your stay, so this is a HUGE plus."

  • The perfect 'get-away from life' vacation home

"We absolutely loved this home. The perfect vacation home. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Lovely kitchen stocked with everything you need.....the deck was our favorite gathering spot every evening to talk and gaze at the stars. Our favorite entertainment was watching the hummingbirds drink at the feeder everyday....that was the life. The property was very private...no need to pull the shades because there are no close neighbors to look in the windows. We didn't want to return home....can't wait to come back."

  • Frequent VRBO renter across Colorado

"Awesome place! Stayed here my family for a week and loved it. Having been to Telluride before, I knew the value of being close the gondola station and Mountain Village grocery store. Both are literally across the street. This was summer time, so there was also bike-in/bike-out access for mountain biking on the MV trails. Super convenient for all things Mountain Village and Telluride. Great views from inside the condo and of course the balcony. Lots of room to sit outside with multiple people. Tons of common area space inside and nice open floorplan. Great showers!! All around, a really nicely furnished place. The right balance of 'modern-mountain' decor. It wasn't overly done with antlers and flannels or any try-to-hard styles, nor wasn't overly creative modern. Felt very appropriate for a mountain town, but still up to date, classy and comfortable. One thing to note - the 3rd bedroom is more of a den. There was plenty of room for the queen bed and didn't feel cramped at all, but there isn't a window. This wasn't a problem, since the person sleeping in there liked having the doors open (and having the cool air and views from the living room). But if you have kids that could be afraid of being closed up in a room without windows or anything, it just something to be aware of. Now if you like sleeping in full darkness, this would be a great room for you then!! Awesome place. Lots of room (we had up to 6 people staying at one point) and extremely convenient. Extremely. Also, one of the few places available for rent that allows dogs! The folks that facilitated the rental and our check-in process were extremely helpful and easy to reach. For all my future trips to Telluride, I'll be looking back here first!"

  • Beautiful Home, Excellent Location

"This home is beautiful, and the pictures are a perfect representation of what you'll find. It's clean, comfortable and spacious as well. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there's a loft area with three beds. The views are spectacular. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more, including a huge selection of games and books. We enjoyed the location just outside of town, yet not as far south as South Crested Butte. If you have pets, there are convenient areas for long walks right out the door. Fishermen can access the river about a quarter mile away. And Upper Loop access for bikers and hikers is close by, too. Beth made coordinating our stay super easy. This was the perfect choice for our group of five people & one dog, and there was plenty of room for more."
