  • Amazing

"Our small family of 12 stayed for 4 nights in this amazing home. My now husband and I got married on the balcony during our stay there, it was small and intimate with only our small family. It was beautiful and breathtaking. In addition, working with the owner and property manager was more than easy. They accommodated any needs we had and checked in with us regularly. We have rented many properties in the past, with VRBO and this was our best experience ever. We know to take our own supplies, however, what a pleasant surprise when the home was ready for us with a few bathroom and kitchen supplies. We would and will be planning to come back to this home. We had 3 children with us (ages 7-9) and they may have had more fun than the adults. The game room is wonderful and so much for the kids to do."

  • Charming Log Cabin!

"We love coming to Crested Butte for the Wildflower Festival and Gothic Cabin was the perfect hub for our July visit. The home is well represented by the pictures and everything was as we hoped. We love traveling with our four legged family member and are always thankful for homes that can accommodate us. Being able to walk down Elk Avenue to get a coffee, visit the Farmers Market or go out to dinner was the best luxury. The deck and backyard made a great spot for grilling and unwinding, at the end of the day. We would definitely stay at Gothic Cabin again and the customer service from Alpine Getaways was top notch, start to finish! We love Crested Butte!"

  • Amazing and Relaxing

"My fiancé loves yurts, and we've stayed at a couple around the state. I had my eye on this one for over a year before we could make it work out, and I'm so glad we did! From the minute we pulled up we could tell this was something special. The setting by the river is so peaceful, and we were blessed with a Spring-like setting in mid March! We even saw cherry blossoms opening up during our stay. Unbelievable! The owners checked us in and gave us a nice overview of the yurt, the property, and the town of Paonia. They were super friendly and gave us some great recommendations (farm to table restaurant in town was GREAT!) Then a weekend of relaxation truly began. We loved sitting out by the river and soaking in the hot tub. And inside the yurt you'll find everything you need to make a meal and enjoy your time. The surrounding property is also yours to explore, and we enjoyed several hikes along the river. This is one of those gems you almost don't want to tell anyone about for fear that your new secret will get out! If you're looking to really disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with your own thoughts or someone you love... this is the place to do it!"

  • No words to describe it except AWESOME!!!

"This was our first time to Crested Butte during the summer and we had a fabulous time. 1st of all there is so much to do for the outdoor types. We river rafted, mountain biked, hiked, the zip line was amazingly fun. The kids had a blast. The condo was incredible! All as described and better. Very spacious with plenty of room everyone. We are a family of 6 and had 3 friends come up for 3 days as well. The views of the mountains and down on the town of CB were breathtaking. What a beautiful place and we will certainly be back to stay. Thanks again!"
