  • Just amazing

"We just finished an amazing week at this home. The house fit our needs perfectly with 3 sitting areas, enough bedrooms, grill and great kitchen space. Our favorite spots were the pool and sitting on the deck overlooking the inlet. It was so peacful watching the boats go by from the deck. We enjoyed the whole thing so much that we are looking to book the house again next summer!"

  • Enjoyed Our Stay

"Family vacation at this home was great; very quiet neighborhood, plenty of room for all of us (7 adults and 3 children)! Tons of bath towels! There were 2 TVs in the main living space which was great for the children to watch their shows while the adults watched theirs. A couple of the bedrooms also had tvs. Yard was big enough for the children to play in and with the use of lawn chairs and our beach chairs, we made a "fence" so the children and their ball did not go over the "cliff". Met a friendly neighbor who gave us insight into restaurants and beach areas. This house is not on what I would call a beach, there is no sand and although you could get into the water from the shore, it was difficult for the children (4 and younger) who ended up with many scratches, bruises and bleeding knees. Husband and children loved going out in the kayak! We all loved spending time sitting on the porch overlooking the Sound. It would be helpful if there was a book of directions to restaurants and/or menus, directions to local grocery areas and local beaches. Would also be helpful if you had a cabinet or two available for guests to put their food and kitchen items in. Fran was very easy to work with and very accommodating! Thanks Fran!"

  • Wonderful family vacation!

"Do not hesitate to book this fantastic home! We had lovely family vacation for 18, ages 4-75. Fun for all! Easy drive to Stony Creek CT. Easy to park your car for few days. Quick ferry to the house. Home is beautiful. All bedrooms and baths are nicely done. Nice linens/bedding. Great, stocked kitchen (no microwave, no biggie). Wonderful decks for coffee and full meals while watching the sun set. Great little beach with kayaks. Plenty of room to roam, rocks to climb, places to relax. We took the Thimble Islands tour with Capt. Bob (fantastic), we ate dinner one night in Branford at Nataz, 10 minutes away, we sailed for few hours with Eric Treu at Sailworks (worth every penny), we rented 19ft boat for a week from docks in Guilford (totally worth it). One of the best family trips ever! Jeff was so accommodating and easy to work with. Rent it!"

  • Excellent Vacation Home

"We reserved the home for two weeks in mid June. Without a doubt, this was the best vacation home we have ever rented. The location is great, being only about a 5 block walk to the town beach and picnic grove. Branford is only about a 5 mile drive to New Haven. So lots to do and see. The town is long-established with beautiful homes, trees, and granite rock formations everywhere. Numerous marinas full of all types of boats and great sea food restaurants. The house has been well-maintained with updated baths and kitchen. The owners are quite thoughtful and take obvious pride in their property. You will not be disappointed"
