"We had a large group for Thanksgiving and the property was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed, there was space for all, and the views were terrific. Given the weather, we most enjoying the large and festive living room fire place. The photos don't show the bathrooms, which were all very nice. The house is close to Mystic and the train station, and yet we felt like we were really away from it all because of the tranquil river setting. My son and his friends enjoyed canoeing, even though it was cold. I bundled up and enjoyed morning coffee on the deck. It's easy to imagine how nice this house would be in the summer. Paul was great to work with and the property was very well maintained. I hope to return soon!"

"After years booking hotels when visiting our Conn. family, we tried something different and rented this lovely beach house. At this quaint cottage on the beach we had our most memorable visit ever. The kids will be talking about this one for years to come. Daytime relaxing on the beach, BBQ meals, and smore's by the fire pit at night. For me, the best was at the end of our stay, my husband said, "Well done picking this place."
All the necessary rental conditions were met: clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, 1 & 1/2 baths, washing machine. The owner Elly could not have been nicer... very accommodating. We look forward to another stay next year."

"The cottage is exceptionally comfortable in a very comfortable area. It's a good place to go on walks because the beach is not far away.
The facilities are very neat and well-kept. There is a treacherous step as you enter the front door, but it is only treacherous if you do not follow the well-placed instructions to watch your step.
Car access works best for getting back toward New Haven. Also, there are a good selection of grocery stores just outside the comfortable walking distance for many people.
This cottage would work very well for people who have relatives or friends nearby who do have enough living space to fit in the guests. It is a great place."

"We loved our vacation week in Clinton. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood with little traffic. It was a great neighborhood for walking and it was very easy to take our kayaks down to the beach and explore the area. People were extremely friendly. The second floor with the kitchen and open area was perfect for our family. We had plenty of room and loved sitting out on the upper deck, watching the kayaks and paddleboards in the inlet across from the house while eating our dinner or having cocktails. The kitchen had great appliances, plenty of dishes, glasses, and cookware, and a gas grill outdoors. Very convenient to the outlets, grocery stores, restaurants, and of course, Dunkin Donuts. We're looking forward to returning in the future. Reid was very responsive to my questions prior to our stay and very helpful. Overall, a great experience!"
