  • Wonderful Experience!

"Our extended family stayed at your home to attend a family reunion in Branford. We could not have asked for a better location, lovely house and every amenity needed. I would recommend your home to anyone and hope we can come back some day!! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience."

  • Peaceful Retreat

"This was a very pleasant cottage tucked back away from the road with shade, peace, and quiet, yet really just a few steps from the beach. The hosts were very friendly and they are dog lovers so they made us and our pooch feel welcome. The accommodations are not luxury but clean, comfortable and attractive. The beach is private which is very nice. They welcomed our well behaved dog on the beach on a leash. The area has interesting attractions and restaurants. The Florence Griswold Museum is a must see for art lovers. Johnny Ads Seafood in Old Saybrook is a must for a true New England seafood experience. This is also a great place for kayaking, swimming and fishing. I would recommend this property to a friend."

  • Just Wonderful!

"I can hardly describe the peace, and fun we all had during our stay at this wonderful house. So practical, easy, clean and the water right there on our feet, literally. During the day, we spent most of the time on the beach, enjoying the sun, soft breze, and nice people arround. During the night, the reflections of the moon on the water taking advantage of the small but cute deck. We had a blast, thank you Nancy and Mathew!!!!!!!"

  • Short stay at Little House in the Big Woods!

"Stayed here for 2 nights to attend family reunion nearby. This is a great little hideaway in the woods. Restored 200 year old house is quaint and cozy. We loved the historic feeling and solitude of the property. The drive down the lane to get here is breathtaking and beautiful. Would be nice to come back and explore the woods and pond as we did not have time. This is a great property to get away from the city noise and bury yourself in a good book! Owner Eliza very easy to reach and helpful with suggestions for dining etc in immediate area. Bathroom stocked with lovely toiletries and kitchen stocked nicely as well (although very small). Winery down the road a bit fun to visit. Would love to return when we have more time!"
