  • Great relaxation

"We arrived all type A with many plans to hike and swim, ended up enjoying the comfort of the house, cooking, hanging out together. Switching from indoor seating for outdoor, enjoying cooking together in the very well equipped kitchen, and eating. We did do some biking and swimming, after all. We'll surely be back again!"

  • Great place for a comfortable, low key vacation

"We just spent a week at this cottage, and there's so much that isn't shown in the pictures -- it is a well-restored 1925's cottage with lots of interesting features, lots of room, and is decorated very nicely. It came well equipped with everything we needed and is a very short walk to a nice beach. There is a nice deck in the back with the BBQ and a table and chairs and a fenced in lawn area, and it was great sitting on the front porch with our coffee in the morning. It is a very comfortable cottage, we had a wonderful, relaxing vacation, and the owner was very nice to work with. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my friends who are looking for a nice low key place to settle into for a week."

  • A World Away

"Early September was a beautiful time to visit. Killingly Pond is an incredibly tranquil and peaceful place. It's hard to believe it is so close to all of the conveniences. The cabin itself was immaculate and stocked with everything anyone could ever need. That made it a very restful vacation; all of the comforts of home without any of the pressures. The waterfront and land around the cabin is unspoiled and natural. A sacred place. We enjoyed outdoor fires and walks on the nearby trails. We kayaked, swam, and sat on the stone pier for hours, just soaking it all in. A great spot for those who value serenity and desire a true escape from the hustle bustle world."

  • PERFECTION!

"Our goal each year is to try a house on a lake in a different state. This place has changed a family tradition and we will be returning!!!..hopefully again and again! Perfectly relaxing, at times it was like we had the entire lake to ourselves. The house is cozy, had more than expected, cupboards so well stocked, and Carol is wonderful and more than accommodating! We couldnt have asked for a better week. Kids loved the boats, fishing, floating, swimming, and their own space on the top floor was awesome!! Wicked comfy king size bed too! Slept like a baby. Thanks so much, and see you next year!!"
