"My family stayed here along with three other families (with lots of young children) for a long weekend. We had a blast. During the days we went apple picking nearby at Marsh Farm (hay rides, corn maze and pumpkin patch for the kids). We went hiking down country lanes, past lakes and through the woods which adjoin the property. Each night we cooked huge meals in the fully-equipt kitchen and ten of us ate in the impressive dining room. We did jigsaw puzzles in the huge living room and (attempted to) play the grand piano. My wife & I agreed that we would love to come back and do exactly the same weekend away next year (drivign 2 hr 15mins from our home in Brooklyn, NYC)."

"Thank you for a wonderful weeklong stay! The owners communicated quickly and clearly - much appreciated. The location is secluded and beautiful - gorgeous view from the living room. The ceiling fans throughout were much appreciated as the week was warm. The home was clean and outfitted well for our needs. Everything was as described and the location was perfect in proximity to our daughter's wedding at Fairfield Farms."

"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage with our spectacular waterfront view. The deck is magnificent, with a great outdoor dining set and cocktail area. The place came fully stocked for outdoor fun, with a canoe and kayaks, etc., for fishing or just paddling around. Indoors, we found everything we needed -- fully stocked with linens and everyday essentials. The best was the dining room table, with a view over the lake. Beds are comfortable and clean, as is the all of this nice Connecticut cottage. Oh, and whatever you do, take a ride over to the Coriander Café for dinner!!!"

"Okay, so a solid week of beautiful sunny weather helped, but our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful and well equipped home and another home nearby. We had family members from 18 months to 70 years old and put the crib, high chair, every toy, the kayaks and a paddle board to good use. The beach is beautiful and nicely contained for the younger kids. It was a short walk to the Ocean Beach boardwalk for ice cream and music after dinner. The grassy area next to the house allowed badminton and whiffle ball and cartwheels. The kitchen is big and well equipped. We had a hard time leaving the beautiful house and beach for an afternoon in Mystic. We were in CT for a wedding... We had such a great time that we will be trying to think of an excuse to go back!"
