  • Wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

"This home was perfect for our destination family gathering for Thanksgiving. The surrounding area is quiet and quite beautiful, even on cold, rainy November days. The home itself was even larger than the pictures indicated and easily accommodated our party of seven adults and one child. The inside furnishings are warm, welcoming and even a bit eclectic but overall you quickly felt quite at home. The very well appointed professional kitchen and high-end bathroom fixtures were added bonuses. We highly recommend this property to families looking to spend some quality time together........we hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future."

  • Peaceful, quiet beach vacation

"We just got home from a fantastic long weekend stay at this lovely apartment. It is tucked back away from the street (a very quiet street at that), near the woods, so it was very quiet and serene. This is an area where a lot of families are staying in beach cottages - not a lot of loud partying or nightlife, which we were thrilled about. We enjoyed a few walks down the beach, as well as down the road and through the neighborhood, and the few people we saw were very friendly. Though the house is not directly on the beach, we were able to just grab our stuff and walk barefoot across the road and were on the beach in about 1 minute. Overall the beach was very quiet and we had a great time just sitting out on the sand with our dog while our toddler played in the sand. We were able to put our toddler down for a midday nap, and to bed at 8pm, with the windows open without worry about noise. The house is stocked with everything you need (dishes, pots, pans, fridge, stove, etc.) so we just made one trip to the Big Y grocery store and cooked all of our meals there. The upstairs bedroom was very spacious, with lots of room and drawers for us to unpack our stuff. The entire place was pristine with lots of sunlight if you opened up the blinds. While I didn't have an opportunity to meet the owners during our stay (they live on-site, but were away for the weekend), they were wonderful in their communications with us and helping to make our stay a really nice one. We're already talking about coming back to stay again in the spring!"
