  • A beautiful oasis on the lake

"This house is so great! We have been coming here for 4 years and each year it gets better. It feels like a home that has been well taken care of, not just a rental property. The design is fresh and modern while still feeling comfortable and homey. Its a perfect layout for 2 families or more, with plenty of beds for everyone. Being on Bantam Lake is so fun and there are plenty of ways to enjoy it. Being at this cottage is like a wonderful hideaway, we can't wait to go back!"

  • Relaxing Long Weekend

"My wife and I stayed for a little bit less than a week during the Labor Day weekend. The house is bigger than it looks on the pictures. It is well maintained and had everything we needed for our stay. The host, Mary, is very nice and accommodating. The shore is a short walk away and if you don't want go to the beach, the house has a sizable backyard where you can just relax in one of the beach chairs. There is a seafood store with a great selection of fresh fish and seafood around the corner, a super market a five minute drive away and a couple of restaurants across the street. Things to do include local attractions such as Thimble Islands cruise, drive on the scenic I-146 and visiting local historic villages such as Essex. We enjoyed our stay very much and felt quite relaxed at the end. I hope we could stay longer."

  • Exceeded all expectations... which were high!

"Wonderful views of the Bay and lighthouse especially from the balcony of the master bedroom of this beachside survivor of the 1938 hurricane. The lovely accommodation is family traditional, well appointed and generous (6+ bedrooms). It absorbed our British daughters' wedding party of 10 happily with plenty of escape room. The attentive owners fixed any challenges and the breakfasts at Doreen's 'Broken Yolk' diner were humungous and memorable. Highly recommended in every way. White sands for the kids. Only wished we could have stayed longer."
