  • Unexpected comfort.

"I'm used to vacation rental properties being filled with old wicker furniture and a tv from the mid-1990s, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that this home was anything but typical. Warm and inviting with comfortable beds and nice linens. The kitchen cupboard contained MATCHING PLATES AND GLASSES. Seriously - that's a huge plus! The home has clearly been remodeled in the past few years and is very well cared for. Everything we needed was easily accessible, and the communication throughout the reservation process was prompt and thorough. Honestly can't say enough about how happy I am with the whole experience. Hope to be back in the future."

  • Relaxing Long Weekend

"My wife and I stayed for a little bit less than a week during the Labor Day weekend. The house is bigger than it looks on the pictures. It is well maintained and had everything we needed for our stay. The host, Mary, is very nice and accommodating. The shore is a short walk away and if you don't want go to the beach, the house has a sizable backyard where you can just relax in one of the beach chairs. There is a seafood store with a great selection of fresh fish and seafood around the corner, a super market a five minute drive away and a couple of restaurants across the street. Things to do include local attractions such as Thimble Islands cruise, drive on the scenic I-146 and visiting local historic villages such as Essex. We enjoyed our stay very much and felt quite relaxed at the end. I hope we could stay longer."

  • Son's wedding week

"We had several family members in town for a 5 day reunion and our sons wedding. The house was comfortable, clean and had plenty of amenities. The playscape, kayaks, yard, river - all were used and enjoyed! One note of warning - don't try to kayak at low tide! There isn't enough water depth. But when the tide is in, it was great!"

  • Relax and Rejuvenate

"The cottage was so cute - just what you would want at a seaside retreat. It was well stocked with the things that we needed. The location was perfect - right on the beach, and we had the beach all to ourselves. Wrap around deck. Sun rises and sun sets were spectacular."
