  • Beautiful, secluded house

"I stayed in this house with 5 friends this past weekend. The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable, with a view from the porch that can't be beat. All the linens were clean and very organized. Many great local attractions. Stores and restaurants were 10-15 minutes away. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a secluded weekend away -Jeff"

  • Lovely Cottage, Lovely Area

"My husband and I run a B&B in the Catskills. We wanted to get away for a few nights to relax, unwind, and decompress. This Cottage was the perfect choice for us; it met all of our desires and needs. The Cottage itself is absolutely darling and full of charm. It is cozy and very well decorated. We appreciated the reclaimed wood used throughout the Cottage, the high ceilings, and all of the nature-themed decorations/details. There are plenty of windows, allowing an abundance of natural light and shades to block it out if desired. The living room is perfectly cozy and a great place to snuggle up and read a book or watch TV, the kitchen is adorable, the bedroom is perfect with a comfortable bed and lights over the bed for reading at night, and the bathroom has a nice, oversized shower. The setting is tranquil; in a wooded area with a small river behind the Cottage. We enjoyed drifting off to sleep, and waking to, the gentle sound of the flowing river. Lake Waramaug is just a 30 second drive down the road. There are many wonderful restaurants and shops within 2 to 20 minutes, making it a perfect location. It was simply perfect! Built and decorated with love and care, in an idyllic setting, private, cozy, peaceful, and in a great area. We intended to stay for 3 nights, but decided to stay a 4th. We will certainly return and highly recommend this to other couples looking for a quiet getaway. This is a very special place, so please be sure to respect and honor it."
