"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights to attend a wedding at the Saybrook Point Inn, which was a quick 10 minute walk away. The owner was extremely responsive. The cottage is quaint, cutely decorated, and has everything you need for a great stay. There is a small deck which overlooks the large grassy lawn - a perfect space to soak up some sun. The yard is especially great for any four legged friends you bring along!"Guest: Janna B. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 27, 2014View listing

"My family had the best summer vacation in Saybrook Manor last year and w're returning again this year! Steps to the beach, large, spacious house with all the amenities. Association has family activities such as Bingo, Spaghetti Dinners and Breakfasts at the Club House. Such fun. Perfect!"Guest: Delighted Guest Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 7, 2014View listing
"My family loved the 'cottage' on the water. Views from every window were fabulous. The location is private and quiet, and quite spectacular. We chose the location because it was half way for both of our adult children (NYC and Boston) who joined us on weekends. During the weekdays we went site seeing and visited nearby seaport towns along the Ct. coast. Shopping was fabulous at the outlet malls (less than 10 miles away). Old Saybrook is a quiet, less touristy town than some of its neighbors, but has great restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and a great yarn store! This is also a dog friendly town with several groomers if that service is needed. But, what we enjoyed most was just relaxing at the cottage, enjoying the sunrise and sunsets on the water, and talking long walks along the coast. It was just what we needed after a difficult 8 mos. deployed overseas. The cottage itself has a very nice, up-to-date renovated and well outfitted kitchen and renovated baths, and is comfortably and casually furnished. There were plenty of linens and towels. Cleaning supplies were available, as well as food staples left by previous tenants for use, and we left behind our unused items (ie coffee/tea etc.) for the next group. I would highly recommend this rental. (Time of year - early April)"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 11, 2014View listing
