"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage with our spectacular waterfront view. The deck is magnificent, with a great outdoor dining set and cocktail area. The place came fully stocked for outdoor fun, with a canoe and kayaks, etc., for fishing or just paddling around. Indoors, we found everything we needed -- fully stocked with linens and everyday essentials. The best was the dining room table, with a view over the lake. Beds are comfortable and clean, as is the all of this nice Connecticut cottage. Oh, and whatever you do, take a ride over to the Coriander Café for dinner!!!"

"My Family & I (12 of us altogether - mix of little ones, teens and adults) were lucky enough to stay at Suzanne and Dan's place in New London in July 2015. Suzanne met us at the house to give the tour. It was perfect for ALL of us with PLENTY of room and privacy...similar to a mini hotel with all of our own family suites. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc., but if you needed anything, you could go 10 mins down the street to a shop & stop (open 24hrs). Because we were a large group, we cooked out on the grill EVERY NIGHT and had our dinner and drinks on the (very private) deck. I think this was my favorite time : ) chilling at the end of the day before heading down to Ocean beach (2 block walk) for the nightly events. The game room provided a ton of entertainment for the kids (all ages) every night. Mystic is so close (15mins) and for a more wavy beach, we ended up at Misquamicut RI Beach ($20/day) for boogy boarding. Highly recommend it, the only thing we couldn't find for the beach was a sun umbrella-they could have had one, but we didn't bug Suzanne or Dan for one. They had everything else though...towels, chairs, sunscreen, beach toys, etc.
This house is a 5 Star for us - it was perfect in so many ways. Great space, great location, great quiet, friendly neighborhood and neighbors. Someone in another post mentioned ants in the kitchen...yes, we saw a few around the water faucet, (my home is no different) but I don't believe it was about any food that was left-atleast not in our case...it certainly wasn't bothersome or an issue at all (2 or 3 the whole week).
We would DEFINITELY return back here for more morning/nightly walks on the beach, exploring more CT fun and just being able to relax in this wonderful home ; ) TY Suzanne and Dan for hosting our family in New London."

"Four generations of our family recently vacationed here and a wonderful time was had by everyone. From my two-year-old grandson to my 93-year-old father-in-law, it was a marvelous time for all. The house is magnificent with its beautiful furnishings and totally great kitchen for cooking. The views from each room are breathtaking. My three grandsons enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking right from the house. The elevator was a great plus for my father-in-law and myself. It is near everything and I can't think of anything we'd need to add to this perfect stay."

"Me and the family had a great time at the RED HOUSE. Great place for small kids to explore and be in a safe and friendly environment. The owners were a great host and had neat things at the cottage for us to do such as local puzzles, games, and more...we look forward to our next stay!!!"
