"We rented the Fairmont for our family (10 people) for our daughters graduation. The view was fantastic and most of our time was spent enjoying it! Rustic yes, but a perfect New England Beach House. We enjoyed our stay and would return and recommend it for 2015 graduation week. 15 min drive to the Academy and 12 min drive to the popular Hawks Nest beach. Cant beat the price compared to other locations!"

"We really enjoyed our family time here! It was great for our kids to play safely outside in the large yard where the parents and grandparents could see them (and the peaceful views!) easily out of the many windows. We found it tastefully decorated and had all the comforts of home. It even had kids' books, videos and balls for the kids to enjoy. The beds were by far the most comfortable beds we have slept on while away from home. The space was more than adequate to accommodate a group of 7 for several days, the kitchen cabinets were well stocked with cookware, it had a full size washer & dryer and comfortably sized bathrooms. The driveway entrance was difficult to find, especially at night, but it's not a deal breaker.
The only thing we would change is to come when the weather is in the 70's or below. Since it didn't have central air, it got quite warm during our last two days/nights (up to mid90's). The fans provided did help some.
Overall, we'd definitely return to this lushly-surrounded and well-thought-out vacation home."

"I have 5 sisters, each of us with individual needs and wants. We wanted to go somewhere close to drive too and shop and gamble all in one area. Mystic was our choice. Well this was a perfect set up for all of us. The elevator was a plus for my one sister who cannot really do stairs due to health issues. The kitchen was well equipped for the ones that enjoy cooking and the view was spectacular for those who enjoy looking at the seaport. The owner was very easy to talk to and very accommodating and always available. Every detail in this home was thought out, right down to the motion lights on all sets of stairs. Plenty of bathrooms, especially with 6 women in the house. Location also was a plus, very quiet and peaceful area."

"A group of women stayed here for a Yale Divinity School reunion in October 2014. It was a beautiful house with plenty of parking and bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the place for big groups. It has lots of bedrooms, a great family room, spacious kitchen and room to enjoy. The property owners and manager worked with us coming from all parts of the country. This was a comfortable house in a good location for us."
