  • Perfect marsh hideaway minutes from town!

"Loved my time in the Zen Cottage. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views on the deck of the marsh to enjoy breakfast and dinner by. Comfortable beds, excellent for a great nights rest after having an active day of hiking the nearby trails in Branford. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need to make a nice dinner. Luckily for me the osprey next just off in the marsh was home to a family of four, with two young ones ready to fledge in September. I was also greeted by a very friendly cat who ate breakfast and dinner with me on the back deck a number of times during my stay. I could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay for a vacation! I hope to return in the future! Having lived in New Haven for a number of years, the Branford area is a perfect retreat. Close enough to hop over to the New Haven green for any of the free summer concerts and a nice dinner. Visitors to the area I also recommend heading over to the Stony Creek section of Branford. You can take a nice walk along the Trolley Trail to see the Thimble Islands in the distance, fiddler crabs, egrets and osprey. In the small town of Stony Creek you can grab breakfast, lunch or dinner and sit outside and gaze at the boats coming in from the Thimbles. Tours of the Thimbles leave frequently every hour."

  • A wonderful house to rent

"An excellent house to rent. Very clean and comfortable. Our landlord was very accommodating to our needs. The house is very well maintained, and the neighborhood is lovely to walk in or ride bikes. The location is very convenient to the train station, I 95, and downtown Westport. The Post Road is also conveniently located with excellent shopping for all of your needs."

  • Great Beach Location

"The house was a lovely beach cottage and such a great location for us with our young son. We could walk on the beach, collect shells and sea glass, walk to the playground, walk fro good seafood and yummy ice cream at The Sandpiper and access what we needed easily. Lanna was great to work with, very nice, thoughtful and flexible. The beds were comfortable and the house had what we needed. It was perfect for our visit."

  • Lovely seaside house

"This is a lovely old New England house with a spectacular porch and spacious indoor rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are just as pictured. The fifth bedroom is tucked up in the attic so only usable in the summer. We were there over Thanksgiving, a family of 5 adults and twin five-year-olds and we settled in comfortably. The owner was very responsive to a WiFi problem and despite a big storm, Comcast was on the job at 8 am. Views of Long Island Sound from all the windows. Definitely recommend it."
