"My wife and i took our four boys ages 10-16 to enjoy Mystic and Misquamicut beaches. They house served us well. The huge deck with grill was our evenings on most days. Cooking the fresh fish from the seafood market across the causeway, relaxing and getting that great breeze off the water. We had great times fishing the causeway. The bait shop there is helpful and owned by a great family. The Aquarium, mystic seaport and many restaurants and shops are minutes away. The beaches are an easy ride away as well. I have visited this area for the past 30 years. Staying on the beach is nice but the people, traffic and cost of food is no comparison to enjoying the beach then coming home to a relaxing and quiet spot to decompress. Clean up, cook in or go out. There is a huge tv on the 1st floor. There is a great sized yard where we enjoyed yard games at the end of our day. I will not hesitate to reserve this house anytime we plan to travel to this area.

"We stayed at the Spirit Horse Farm for two nights. How do I even explain this place? From the minute you step into the barn, you are in awe of it and of everything in it. The amazing handiwork, the open space, the incredible beauty that is Spirit Horse Farm. We had the best time. The beautiful farm setting in the beautiful area of Kent, CT. We have always loved the area with the hiking trails and Bulls Bridge and Kent Falls so it seemed a perfect place to go. It was beyond anything we could imagine. Thank you to Guy for making our stay wonderful. The many tasty treats he left us, his friendly personality and if you needed him for anything he was right there. We loved watching the chickens and roosters, the beautiful horses and the elusive peacock. Every once in a while, Guy would release the hundred or so doves and they would zoom around the huge barn we were staying in as if putting on a show. I would totally recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Great for a small intimate gathering as we had and we can see it would be amazing for a large gathering. We have booked more days in October to see the fall foliage and hope to bring more family members. The Spirit Horse Farm is everything the photos show and tons more. Thank you for providing such a slice of unique and for letting us live in a dream world for a few days. LOVE LOVE LOVE Spirit Horse Farm! This will be our destination for many more return visits."

"We so enjoyed our week at Creek House. My mother, brother, sister and our four children, aged 8 - 12 were thrilled the minute we pulled into the driveway and saw the beautiful grounds and water access. Be sure to enjoy the yard and all the little treasures sown there. The house itself was comfortable, very well stocked and more than spacious enough for all of us and our varied needs. The kids loved swimming and floating in the water, crabbing from the dock and the kayaks that were at our disposal all week. Having the beach pass was great and we took advantage of that, as well as proximity to Mystic Aquarium, which the kids love. Ice cream, the Book Barn, Dad's restaurant, the fire pit all added to our great week. We were looking for a home with a variety of activities for the kids while allowing us to relax and watch their memories form and we found it. The nicest touch were all the details in the house and the history that guests are allowed to share. Seeing the home over the years and learning about the family history there was lovely. We loved our stay and definitely look forward to another stay!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, location and amenities in this Black Point House. The owner/agent was able to accommodate one of our guests who could not negotiate the stairs by converting the first level office into a bedroom, it was perfect. Loved the outdoor shower, ample parking at the house, plus nearby parking a few houses down the street, the open concept kitchen/breakfast area that seated 10. The only caveat, was the lawn was a bit long and should have been mowed prior to our stay. The gardeners finally showed up a day prior to our leaving."
