  • The Best Deal in Ridgefield

"I was pleasantly surprised to have all my expectations met or exceeded with my stay at George's converted barn. It is truly a "5 Star" property and I would highly recommend these accommodations to anyone planning on visiting the Ridgefield area. You literally need to do nothing more than show up and buy some groceries. We found this charming property to be the perfect place to lock ourselves away from the rest of the world for a little while and I have priceless memories of my stay here...thank you George!"

  • Loved it!

"My husband and I went for a long weekend for our anniversary. The cottage was so cozy and cute, the back yard was perfect for a small BBQ,, very nice landscaping. Great getaway for us, and right across from the beach. We really like that they supplied really nice beach chairs and an umbrella. The beach was great and private. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Very stress-free booking. We will definitely be returning! Also, Branford has a lot to do!"

  • A Wonderful Long Weekend with Friends

"This was our second stay in this lovely home. It has worked perfectly for us to gather family and friends who, in our case, live in both New York and Boston (Mystic is about 2 hours drive from each). The home is open and airy and spacious, inviting guests to enjoy the many wonderful spots within the house. For us, the breakfast room was a favorite with direct water views and a big round table for playing games. We also love the little enclaves in the master bedrooms to read and watch the sunrise. The home is conveniently located to everything in town yet set far enough away that it feel like a real retreat. The homeowner is kind and responsive and very accommodating. We look forward to coming back soon!"

  • Plenty of space and wonderful owner

"We had a family reunion this summer and very much enjoyed our time at the beach house. The house is spacious and we love the long dining table where all of us could sit together for a meal. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need (even when you forget something in the dryer :-).) She was very responsive to email and phone calls as we planned our trip. The town of Madison was great too. We had many walks into town to get food, browse in the cheese shop or most importantly get ice cream at Ashleys."
