  • PERFECTION!

"Our goal each year is to try a house on a lake in a different state. This place has changed a family tradition and we will be returning!!!..hopefully again and again! Perfectly relaxing, at times it was like we had the entire lake to ourselves. The house is cozy, had more than expected, cupboards so well stocked, and Carol is wonderful and more than accommodating! We couldnt have asked for a better week. Kids loved the boats, fishing, floating, swimming, and their own space on the top floor was awesome!! Wicked comfy king size bed too! Slept like a baby. Thanks so much, and see you next year!!"

  • Overall everyone loved it

"Recently the family has been traveling everywhere and we decided that we will go to a quiet place where we can get away from many people and just relax. I cant handle camping so this was the closest thing to it. I love the outdoors since we live in the city we don't really spend much ttime like this and it was a nice change. Talking about the house I mean it was just perfedt., everything I could ask for."

  • Beautiful Setting!

"This is such a beautiful property! The view is just unbelievable. Waking up in the morning and having a cup of tea on the porch was such a great way for me to start my wedding day! The house itself is very cute with a Brady Bunch vibe. Very kitch and original 1960s. We loved it! My bed was very comfortable and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. Before the visit Kathy was great at communicating with me though unfortunately had to leave town before our arrival. We were left in the capable hands of Lisa and she showed us around the property and explained how everything worked before leaving us to the peace and quiet of this lovely home. I would definitely come back here if I needed another weekend away with a large group. Thanks for everything!"

  • Wonderful family vacation!

"Do not hesitate to book this fantastic home! We had lovely family vacation for 18, ages 4-75. Fun for all! Easy drive to Stony Creek CT. Easy to park your car for few days. Quick ferry to the house. Home is beautiful. All bedrooms and baths are nicely done. Nice linens/bedding. Great, stocked kitchen (no microwave, no biggie). Wonderful decks for coffee and full meals while watching the sun set. Great little beach with kayaks. Plenty of room to roam, rocks to climb, places to relax. We took the Thimble Islands tour with Capt. Bob (fantastic), we ate dinner one night in Branford at Nataz, 10 minutes away, we sailed for few hours with Eric Treu at Sailworks (worth every penny), we rented 19ft boat for a week from docks in Guilford (totally worth it). One of the best family trips ever! Jeff was so accommodating and easy to work with. Rent it!"
