"We all had a fantastic beach week. We enjoyed Lewes much more than we thought we would. The bay was great for the kids and adults as well, and finding the parking lot down past the yacht club made it convenient and parking was free! With the little ones we didn't need to stay in the sun for long periods of time but liked the flexibility of returning at night to enjoy the evenings on the beach as well. This house has great space, large bedrooms and lots of bathrooms. Two family rooms, one with a brand new TV and many toys for the kids to play with which kept them occupied. The kitchen was very well stocked with just about anything you might need. We had 3-4 people working in the kitchen at a time and had no problem. We used the wagon for the kids and enjoyed the convenience of taking quick trips to the community pool and walking to the playground as well. The Village of Five Points provided the convenience of restaurants, drug stores, grocery store, nail salon, etc. and very little traffic was a huge bonus! Easy drive to the beach and not to far from Rehoboth for the boardwalk and Funland. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Oh and a big thank you to the owner, he was so easy to work with and had no problem answering all my questions! Thank you for a great week!"

"I found this place after a reservation I'd made at a nearby beach fell through on a Thursday morning for a Friday arrival. I contacted this owner on Thursday afternoon and he called me back within 30 minutes to let me know the place was available. The owner was so easy to work with and the place was just perfect for our trip (a couple and one dog). We loved the breeze on the front porch greeting us on our arrival Friday afternoon, the short walk to Lewes Beach, wading through the tidal pools on the beach, and finding shells and live conch along the way. We fished at the inlet and took short trips to other nearby beaches and fishing spots. The interior is truly reminiscent of old beach cottages I visited on the coast of North Carolina and the town of Lewes is just as charming as described. I would highly recommend this property to anyone for both the idyllic setting and the ease of working with the owner."

"We had a wonderful time. The house was very nice, with lots of "beach" atmosphere and the convenience of being within reasonable walking distance of pretty much everything. We loved the atmosphere and were very satisfied by all the amenities. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a cozy Autumn beach getaway!

"My family, including my wife and two-year-old, and my parents just stayed in this house this past week and we couldn't have been happier. The owners communicated all the features of the property in advance, and the house was very well appointed. The house is convenient to Route 1, and to Savannah Road to take you into historic Lewes. The pool in Five Points was nice and had a lifeguard. We went to the Rehoboth boardwalk one evening, took the Cape May-Lewes ferry one day, went to both the Lewes beach on the bay and the Cape Henlopen beach on the ocean, and ate at a half-dozen fantastic restaurants throughout the week. The master bedroom and master bath are on the ground floor, which would be nice for a family with older folks who can't climb stairs well. There's a "small master" upstairs with a large queen bed and its own sitting room and TV, but no attached bath. The third bedroom had a very small TV as well. Cable TV, high-speed wireless internet, and the TV in the living room downstairs is a smart TV so you can watch Netflix on it if you sign in with your own account. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who doesn't mind a drive to the beach."
