"I had the recent privilege of staying in this condo for a 2 day trip while scouting out the local health system! Star of the Sea is the perfect location on the boardwalk. I walked about three boardwalk blocks to get to Rehoboth Avenue-the central street for restaurants, shopping and the bandshell. I thoroughly enjoyed the Veterans Day ceremony, "Go Fish", "Thrashers Fries" the "Candy Kitchen" and learning my way around Rehoboth as this was my 1st visit here. I fell in love! Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and seeing the waves from the ocean! You do not even have to lift your head up off the pillow to see them. There was just enough light from the boardwalk to enjoy this and the window sills were low enough to accommodate. I did not even have to get up early to see the sunrise as the entire view was there again, from the pillow. Walking the boardwalk from end to end was enjoyable as well as exploring the town of Rehoboth, Cape Henlopen, and Lewes. Hopefully, all will work out and one day I will live in the area! Thanks Vicki for your graciousness and expertise in handling last minute rentals! You were wonderful to deal with and I loved the very clean condo! Just one note of detail for those with taller vehicles. I drove an F250 which barely fit in the underground garage. 6'7'' is the ht limit and there are "fittings" that hang down from the pipes so be very careful. The parking lot was closed due to painting the condo building. (Nice that maintenance is kept up). During the off season a parking pass is not needed if parking on the street. Park on Laurel Street to get to the building entrance. Happy travels everyone!"
