  • Good times!

"Me and 6 other ladies enjoyed an awesome girl's getaway in this home. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed this house! It was very spacious and ideal for entertaining! The kitchen had everything we need for cooking big breakfasts and dinners. The walk to the beach was great as well. Since we were eating so much during the trip, the 5 block walk back and forth was good exercise:) All of the other reviews are accurate. This house is amazing and I would definitely rent it again:)"

  • Columbus Weekend Rehoboth Beach!

"Great Location for shopping & only a 1 mile walk to beach & Downtown Rehoboth Beach. We stayed for a golfing weekend. Condo was perfect for this as we got out right on Hwy 1A and we have no more than 1/2 hour ride to several top rated golf courses. i.e. Baywood Greens, Bayside etc. Would be a 5 star rating however, the wireless wasn't working on our stay."

  • Perfect long weekend getaway

"We stayed here for the four day Easter weekend. Right from the start we were sure we'd made a good choice. The townhouse is very attractive with everything you could want. There were 8 of us and the layout allowed for us to all have privacy when we wanted and to share meals and entertainment time together. With 3.5 bathrooms there was no waiting! The kitchen was well equipped and we even had a special Easter brunch in the great dining room. The location was great-- easy to get to the outlets and grocery and equally close to lots of great choices for food and drinks and an easy walk to the boardwalk. Cheryl was very easy to work with and always returned calls and emails quickly. She has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable for everyone from young families ( crib, stroller) to groups like ours. Everyone had a great time and would love to return!"

  • Fabulous Family Vacation

"We just returned from a week of "fabulousness!" The home is meticulously designed, beautifully decorated and accommodating. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage. The master bedroom suite is a paradise in itself, and we didn't mind the 3/4 wall separating the sleeping area from the bathroom area... plenty of privacy. The shower was heavenly, especially after a long day at the beach. The kitchen is fabulous, and we especially enjoyed and utilized the double oven with convection and more. There is a large array of small appliances, gadgets, utensils and cookware... all of which are in pristine condition. We definitely utilized the washer and dryer (which I loved so much that I wrote down the model numbers and we're in the process of checking them out for our own home). There is a gentleman that lives in a private/secured area of the home. He was friendly, although we seldom saw him. While my husband and I loved the comfort of the backyard "oasis" (yes... it is a private/peaceful place to relax and unwind), the kids couldn't get enough of the incredible sound system, flat screens and the ability to have their favorite music playing throughout the entire house. Our 18 and 21 year olds each brought a friend, and there was PLENTY of room (and then some) for all of us. As far as getting to the beach each day, the kids enjoyed the walk, while we found it easier to drive and park within steps of the beach. It was convenient and quick. The large playing fields across the road were perfect for our outdoor activities as well as the kids being able to get their soccer workouts in. Close to downtown, restaurants, shopping, and activities. If you haven't tried Stand Up Paddleboarding... give it a try. We had a BLAST! Needless to say... we had an amazing time, shared some much cherished family time, and returned home feeling refreshed, recharged and revitalized. Thank you so much for sharing your "little piece of Heaven" with us."

Rehoboth Beach Travel Tips

Rehoboth Beach is a little beachside town in Delaware’s Cape Region. It’s known as a more relaxed locale compared to nearby beach spots like Ocean City and the Jersey Shore. It also has one of the best boardwalks in the country. Here are some tips for enjoying your Rehoboth beach holiday:

Nature

There’s plenty of fun to be had outdoors in this quaint, rural area, including:

- Hitting up busy Rehoboth Beach for some fun in the sun and sand.

- Taking a walk or bike ride on the trails and then scavenging for shells on the impossibly peaceful six-mile coastline of Delaware Seashore State Park.

- Ambling about in Cape Henlopen State Park and Seashore Center, a 4,000-acre playground where you can hike, bike, fish and even climb an old World War II tower to see the land from above.

Just for Kids

Even though Rehoboth Beach is adult-friendly, there are multitudinous activities to help the kids feel right at home. Head to Funland, circa 1962, for fun rides and an arcade for both families and kids. In the summer, have fun at Jungle Jim’s, a water park that also has bumper boats, go-carts and a really great cafe. You can take the kids to play miniature golf at Shell We Golf or Ryan’s Mini Golf, take surf lessons at Rehoboth Beach Boarding School or rent bikes from Atlantic Cycles to bike along the beach. The best places to take the kids for a treat are Snyder’s Candy and the famous Kohr Bros. for frozen custard.

Just for Adults

Though Rehoboth Beach is a popular spot for families, there are plenty of things to do here for adults as well.

Libations

Rehoboth Beach is the home of Dogfish Head Brewery, a staple in the world of craft beer. You can take a free tour of the microbrewery in Milton - just make sure to reserve your spot ahead of time! Otherwise, enjoy some laid-back fare and good beers at the Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats on Rehoboth Avenue in the downtown area.

Another excellent option is Nassau Valley Vineyard - the first and largest winery in Delaware. It’s located in Lewes, which is just a 20-minute drive inland from Rehoboth Beach. Bring a picnic lunch and take a self-guided tour of the vineyards and history of wine museum, and enjoy a tasting at this quaint farm winery. They specialize in dry wines like pinot grigio, cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay.

Relaxation

Take advantage of Rehoboth Beach’s wonderful spas, including The Bellmoor Spa, Avenue Apothecary & Spa and One Spirit Massage Studio. You can take SUP lessons at the harbor. You can also go golfing and spend the morning at the farmers market for a nice stroll to see the city’s local flavors.

Festivals

Rehoboth Beach has some excellent annual festivals each year. One of the best is the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival, which has been held for one week each November since 1998. Attendees can see nearly 100 independent films, including shorts, documentaries and feature films. There are also seminars, a children’s cinema corner and even celebrity guests.

Another wonderful yearly fest is the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival, a four-day live music event that has been held here for a quarter of a century. The event attracts renowned musicians and eager jazz enthusiasts from around the world. There are three stages and many local restaurants also feature live music during the festival.

One of the most fun events for the whole family is the Sea Witch Festival - a massive Halloween-themed street festival held on Rehoboth Avenue each year at the end of October. This wildly exciting festival features a costume parade with prizes, face-painting, pony rides, a monster mash, spooky films, make-your-own-scarecrow activities, tasty treats and so many more fun events and crafts. If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit for a scary good time!
