"We decided on a last minute weekend trip to the beach. Tom was very helpful in helping us book the weekend trip. Great location to the beach - about a 5 minute walk. House is spacious and comfy in a very quiet neighborhood. We had a wonderful weekend away :)"

"This was the perfect vacation spot for my children and grandchildren. It was clean, spacious and peaceful. Everything we needed was there. The community was quiet and convenient to the beaches. Highly recommended and look forward to staying here again !"

"The cottage is located in the slaughter beach, only couple steps away to the water. it provides mostl the necessity you need in the cottage; Nora is very nice to order a brand new playpen for my 4 month old. We planned a get away weekend after memorial day but unfortunately hit a raining/shower weekend. We stayed in the cottage for most of the time and devoured crabs from a local seafood company(that's right seafood) on light house road.
Slaughter beach is very quiet in September but with lots of dead horseshoe crab shells on shore. It does look like a slaughter field. LOL. I guess it would be much exciting to come at the hatching season when lots of red knots are around.
thank you for having us."

"My husband and I rented this adorable beach condo for a week-long getaway and it was the perfect place for us to stay. The location is prime, right around the block from Matt's Fish Camp, which is less than a 5 minute walk away, and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. You can't see the beach from the condo, but with such an easy walk, this isn't a problem. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, except for pot holders and measuring spoons, so we purchased some and left them there for the next visitor (and our next visit too!). VERY glad that the house has a toaster oven, as it made heating up leftovers a lot easier (and tastier). The TV gets plenty of channels, and has an HDMI port, so we hooked our Google Chromecast and watched stuff on Netflix and Hulu in the evenings. The bathroom is quite small, so no romantic baths here, but the showerhead is the best one we have ever used anywhere, so we didn't mind.
The location is quiet, despite the fact that all the houses in the community were full of people. The beach itself is excellent, and was never terribly crowded. We often went out around 2pm, well after most people had staked their claim, and never had trouble finding a spot.
We enjoyed our week here and would definitely stay here again. It's the perfect little place for a couple, small family, or a couple of friends. We think you'll like it too!"
