Great 1st Impression of Dewey Beach…
"Perfect location, 100 steps from the beach (literally) my 4 and 6-yr old counted! We had an amazing first visit to Dewey Beach. The house was exactly as pictured. Mr. Bird's customer service was excellent all the way to checkout. Walking distance to dining and a few bars for the adults. We also walked to Monday Night at the Movies and the weekly Bonfire on the Beach hosted by the Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce. The Tanger Outlets and Jungle Jim's Water Park & Mini Golf was also a hit. We will definitely stay here again. I've already recommended it to my BFF and her family."

"My family and I have stayed at this lovely beach house for several years, usually during the month of August. If you are looking for an authentic taste of Old Rehoboth, this is the place for you. The house is only a block from the beach and within easy walking distance of all of the shops on and around Rehoboth Avenue. Every year that we return, we notice tasteful improvements that the family has made to the property. They are always working on it, always updating and enhancing the house's beauty without sacrificing its historical quality. At night we can hear the surf from the front porch, or wander down to the beach to look at the stars and the Cape May lighthouse. The house is a great place to chill, visit with friends and family, and remember what life was like before we spent so much time rushing around in cars. From this house we have biked to Lewes, on through Cape Henlopen Park, and back to Gordon's Pond and home. So much beauty in the historic section of Lewes and the landscape of Cape Henlopen with its dunes and seascape. We also enjoyed walks all over Rehoboth including along the boardwalk and the lake. This house is a great place to spend time away from the city each summer."

"The first thing we saw were the pretty pots of flowers. Very inviting. Once inside the door we were surprised to see a very open kitchen, nice appliances and a cozy living room. Two very nice bedrooms were another welcome site. My favorite room is the sun porch. A nice table and chairs allow one to gaze at the bay in the comfort of the indoors. The two chairs places outside the sun porch were PERFECT for bay watching in the evening. We saw dolphins three times in our week stay. The only thing that was a bit of a challenge was the bathroom. It's small and the commode is quite tight for space...but a small price to pay for such a lovely beach cottage. We travel with our 7 pound Papillon, Izzy who also loved her vacation. As soon as we walked in there was an assortment of doggie toys on the dryer top for her to choose from. What a nice surprise! She loved walking on the beach with us and watching the birds. We have already talked about it and plan to come back next year. My husband and I drove to the other beach area's surrounding the bay and both agreed that Prime Hook is our PRIME choice. If you have teens they may need more entertainment than can be found here - but if you want beauty, quiet, serenity and comfort - this is the place. We found plenty of restaurants and shopping 15 - 20 minutes in any direction. The seafood was simply the BEST. Jessica was our contact person and she was attentive and available 100% Highly recommend this property!"
